I am the dumbest friend ever!
It was last June when I was in Ohio and stayed with my friend Kathy – “and yes, of course” – I told her, “I will be happy to help promote your show!”
Two trips to Pennsylvania and Virginia later, and a trip to Bali and then on to Aiken SC --- I. Plumb. Forgot!
But it’s not too late for you to catch this show! There still may be some classes open!
Please check Quilting With Machines website for more info ---

Scraps, Organized to Perfection (Evening Lecture) Thursday 7:30
Scraps are such a staple for every quilter. We just can’t part with the smallest piece of that favorite fabric. It has been a blessing and curse of every quitter. Join me for an informative, as well as humerous lecture on how to organize your scraps. Learn how your scraps can go from crumpled in a box, to being organized, at your fingertips and ready to be put into a quilt. The lecture will be accompanied by a trunk show of quilts from my AQS book, Scraps, Organized to Perfection , show quilts and some quilts for future projects.

DeleteThanks for giving us a tip of the hat! We are very excited to produce this event, now in our 6th great year.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to get you up here some time.. but then how are we going to keep you down on the farm after you've been to Bal-i???
OK, I think this is a little weird. You were in Aiken where I lived for several years. Now you're talking about Sawmill Creek--I lived right across the street from it for a year! I'm not exaggerating, I could walk out my door into the parking lot by crossing the road! And now I don't live near either one!
ReplyDeleteDo you know if they will be offering the program in 2014?
