iPhone-o-gram!! Bad Sushi!

This is me typing on my phone from beneath the comfy quilts---nursing a sick tummy. :-((

More than you wanted to know I'm sure!

All I know is that 2 hours after my sushi dinner last night, my stomach was on the rampage and I wished I could hurry up and die! Food poisoning maybe?

Made it through the workshop today and had a great time---came back and slept 3 hours. I still feel pretty yuck so am laying low until my drive home tomorrow.

This is me and King Neptune saying Beware Of Sushi!!

And giant turtles that look like they could land on your head.

  1. So sorry, Bonnie. That is MISERABLE! Neptune adds great credibility to your warning! : )

  2. I hope you feel better soon. There is nothing worse than eating something you love and then having to pay for it for the next 24+ hours.

Poor Bonnie! I have never had food poisoning, thankfully. And sushi has just never appealed to me, and this just reinforces that non-appeal! Keep hydrated, get well soon,

  20. Hope you are feeling better. I had the same thing five years ago from some sushi in Houston. The stomach cramps lasted all night. Since then I only eat sushi I made myself. Which is great, because it forced me to learn how to make sushi!

  21. Hope you feel better soon, Bonnie. It's terrible to be sick and then no fun to add traveling to it. Hopefully all will be well for your travels.
I love the picture with the turtle!

  22. So Sorry, try and get some yogurt into you, greek style is probably the best or if you can get it, straight acidophilus, good bacteria, kills bad bacteria, hope you're better soon, Bj.

  24. Well sushi is delicious but having to experience that after a meal is tragic.

  25. Bad food from restaurants making you sick is not good. Get well soon...

(Worse is if you eat fish at home you thougt was good like I did last year - after forgetting it spends 4 days in the fridge . :-D)

But that*s no reason not to eat Sushi - you don*t have to start with raw fish, eat vegetable-sushi first.

  26. Bad sushi makes for a very bad tummy - been there! Hope you didn't get the sushi at Mahi Mah's. That is my favorite spot for sushi in Virginia Beach. Hope you feel better soon!!

  27. best done: anything "fishy" should NOT smell other than fresh salt water. beware of shrimps, they tend to go bad first. best sign that a bar or restaurant is good - works all the time - is seeing if the place is loaded with locals. they know....
    recuperate with cinnamon rice =^}
be well, from a cloudy amsterdam with love,
