Galaxy-Gram! Smith Mountain Morning in Durham!

Well technically we were in Chapel Hill, close to Durham.

All 24 students bringing in machines, hauling totes, fabric and setting up for a fun day of sewing.

I was with this group about 4 years ago, so it was great to see many of them again.  It's not often that I get to teach in my own home state of North Carolina!

Our lunch was short with a lot of show and tell and since I am dealing with this new phone I felt completely inadequate to set up a lunchtime post so this is coming a bit later.

I found an app called watermark that will batch watermark my photos! So this is my first run of that app I hope it works!

Thanks for a very fun day ladies, I'll be seeing you again tomorrow.

  2. Please share which APP you used for the watermark. Thanks! Glad you have some put your feet up and relax time tonight. I 'm doing bindings while I watch the Hallmark Channel.

  3. Hey there Bonnie, this really looks like a fun class. I wanted to comment on your great new hair cut. You look younger, and like you have much thicker hair. WELL DONE!

  4. I love how the classroom is set up - it looks like it would be much easier to see what everyone else is working on.

So glad you were able to teach a class so close to home.

  7. Thanks for a great class Bonnie. I am no longer terrified of triangles.

Sue - our guild has a relationship with one of the local fire houses. This is their community room over the station. It is a great set-up though a bit rustic.

Anonymous - we look forward to meeting you too. DOQ meets in Chapel Hill, which is an easy drive from Swepsonville.

I took the class on Smith Mountain Morning and bought the recommended Rulers: Tri Rec, Easy Angle, Companion Angle. During the class I was overwhelmed with the different cuts, but took a few notes. At home, it all came together. These rulers are terrific!!thanks for introducing them Bonnie...you are a genius.Bibby Moore
