Jamestown Day in Bedford, PA!

What do you get when you bring 52 quilters together too sew for the day?

A big room full of fun!

Our lunch break is just starting and I am quickly sending up some photos so that you can share in our scrappy string piecing day!

We have ladies from all over the great state of Pennsylvania as well as some crazy ones who drove all the way down from New York.

Of course quilters with a destination in mind are eager for any road trip opportunity!

I hope you enjoy the photos, of course there will be more to follow in tomorrow morning's slideshow

  1. WOW!!! I whish I could be there with all of you!!!
Lovely fabric, fun people, great vintage machines...... Quilters-HEAVEN!!!!!
    Have fun you all!!!
    Love from the Netherlands, Ria.
    Wave to you!!!!!!

  2. Wonderful to see that many quilters
in one place having tons of fun.

  3. When I first looked at the post, I thought it said what do you bring when you have 52 quilters all together and all I could think of was scraps, cutting materials and paper for piecing so they could all help tame my scrap bin - maybe that's an idea for smaller local groups - each month you could tackle one persons scrap basket and look forward to your day ... lol

Hope you are all having a great time - how could you not!!!

Dang, I have looked and looked for my Spring Fling book. I guess I have to stop sewing and really clean the sewing room.

  5. I know the energy of 24 ladies. 52 wouldbe so awesome!

  6. My Jamestown Bay in on the quilt design board with the first five rows together. You inspire me to continue on. Thanks for always sharing - it is so much fun to see what others do with patterns we love. Barby MH, ARK
