Hey everyone! I know MOST of you are gone to bed by now – this West Coast Time thing has got me all turned around.
We had a great Love Shack workshop today, followed by a fabulous Mexican dinner at the Iron Horse in Sellwood –and I’m back to my hotel to pack for an early morning departure to the airport, and to draw for our two winners of the July/August issue of Quiltmaker Magazine, the one with my Wanderlust quilt on the cover – pattern inside!
I have YET to see the inside of this magazine so I hope it is waiting for me at home when I return to North Carolina tomorrow night ---
Let’s warm up the random number generator. We had 580 comments!
And winner number one is:
Entry number 357!
Rita Anne!
Winner number two:
# 66!
Kelli Nemec! LOL! What a crack up!
Well, Kelli – whatever you did to the random number generator must have worked, and I burst out laughing when I drew your number and read your comment…what a hoot!
Okay ladies, get back to me with your snail mail addresses so I can let Quiltmaker know your info so they can forward your issues on to you.
I know the Quiltmaker Crew is cruising to Alaska right now, but I’m sure they’ll get those out to you as soon as they get back. Wish I were there – I bet they are having a blast!
As for me….this Quiltville of the Day thing? it’s been REALLY hard to post things from this time zone like I thought I’d be able to because I am in the middle of class still at 3pm when it is 6pm on the East coast. So I’m behind. But we will catch up!
If you aren’t following along with my Quiltville Friends facebook page, or my instagram, you may have missed this:
Cactus Patch from Scraps & Shirttails!
I love the row of half blocks on this quilt, and how the small triangles turn every which direction, just how they do on the antique quilt that inspired this one.
Super fun close up!
Hopscotch Butterscotch from Adventures with Leaders & Enders!
4 patches are a “staple” when it comes to making scrappy quilts for me! This is a fun one and will clear out a bunch of scraps in the process!
Today, because my icloud completely dumped all of my photos somewhere into the ethos ((Yes, there were 1,000 photos on my cloud last night, and this morning there were only 100 really random ones, and NONE of the ones I had photo’d for Quiltville of the Day!)) I shared Cheddar Bow-ties, because it makes me HAPPY!
Cheddar Bow-Ties from MORE Adventures with Leaders & Enders!
Signed copies of books can be ordered by clicking the book title in the right hand side bar <-----
And with that, I’m off to sew a bit, pack a bit, and get to bed early!
Hope you have a safe journey home. I have thoroughly enjoyed all your postings from the West Coast. I hope you manage to locate all your photographs again, can't understand how these things work myself. Anyway, thanks for all you do for us, it is appreciated. I think you could probably use some wind-down time when you get back home.

ReplyDeleteYour photo situation is exactly why I don't trust the "cloud". Hope they show up again just as mysteriously as they disappeared.
I have the digital copy on my iPad, could not find the paper in Saint Augustine so far.
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying it very much!!
