I've arrived at my destination! My hostess, Betty has dinner on the stove and my feet are up in the recliner!
The evening's activities have begun---I'm sewing the last corner section of the hexagon quilt on to its final resting place.
Not sure I can attach it all in one night, but I'm up to the challenge!

You can do it Bonnie! That's why you took it with you this time. :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you arrived safety.
ReplyDeleteSlow and steady, and you will get that quilt done. If not tonight, then I bet by the time you get back home.
Bonnie can't wait to see it all together. Just finished cleaning, oiling and putting on a new treadle belt on my 1909 White Family Rotary treadle machine. She is running beautifully, no tension issues - just a few issues with the person doing the treadling. Got to keep that wheel going in the right direction. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteYou must be so excited being so close to done! Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteThe Hexagon Quilt has been your travel companion for so long, are you going to start another one when it is completed or move on to something new?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it done, it's looking great. Ouch! What happened to your hand?
ReplyDeletedid you burn your hand? better take care of it. drive carefully and watch out for the crazies.
ReplyDeleteI'm really anxious to see how you are going to finish the edges of this quilt! Do you have something in mind, or will you need to study it for awhile? Anyway, congratulations on being so close to done!
ReplyDeleteYou've done well! Congrats on finishing it.

It looks like she only keeps the paper in the last row.
