iPhone-o-Gram! Let there be Wi-Fi!

The art center has Wi-Fi!

I thought I wouldn't be able to post pictures of our class until later today thanks to the art center having such Wi-Fi here we go!

The ladies are busily working on happy scrappy houses. We've got Christmas houses and bright houses and Halloween houses and every other kind of house imaginable!

It's a great day to be quilting in Floyd Virginia!

  1. can you take a picture of the quilt in the first picture...right above the lady holding up the rotary cutter? Looks like a string-diamond pattern???

  2. what a fantastic room! and looks like everyone is having fun!

  3. Love love love the quilts along the ceiling~what a great display idea! I bet this was truly inspiring to work here.

  4. I'm interested in the wall quilts also. Are they covering sky-lights, or are they hung on the slope of the ceiling? How are they hung, curtain rods? inquiring minds would like to know.

  5. What fun - plus the quilts hanging in the room look great. How are they hung? What a great place to hold a workshop.

  6. Looks like a great venue and a very happy group. Thanks for sharing the pictures ... LOVE when you have a slideshow!!

  7. Oh cool! They are still there! The quilts had just been hung when I was there in early July!! :)

  8. Love the house quilt!

  9. Everyone was very cheerful. It's a beautiful environment

  10. Please tell me how they hung those quilts!! I have tons of sloped walls that I could fill, if only I knew how they hung them.

    Thanks, if you can remember.
