Beautiful! I love those colors!! Mine is really the Ugly Ducking...everyone thought it was ugly, but turned into a beautiful swan. I hope to get enough of it done for Linky Monday, as I'm just loving it.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful ! I'm anxious to get back to Florida to continue working on mine. We've been vacationing in NC.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Uschi! You are dedicated for sure. Love the way it turned out! Are you puttong a border on it?
ReplyDeleteThank you! No, I will not add a border as it is huge as it is. I plan to put a purple binding on it.

ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful, I am trying to do at least four blocks a night after work, you have got us hooked, I love my Bonnie Hunter time and am spreading the word, I also recently set up a blog and hope to link in on Monday! Thank you for sharing , now I had better get the thread moving! Annie
Your top is beautiful. Congrats on such a timely finish. And thank you Bonnie for a wonderful mystery pattern.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job! I was thinking about kitting the blocks, but then I noticed more chain piecing of segments could get me done faster -- "house" units to "geese/brick" units, and 4 patch to green squares. Might try this to see if it goes together faster.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait till the link up to see all the beautiful new heirlooms!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who is just starting hers and when she saw the reveal she said: I thought you said this was an easy one! lol
They all get sewn one seam at a time. Great Mystery- cw
Oh now I do feel bad! LOL it's gorgeous.... I'm just having difficulty w turning some of those squares and Flying geese the right way! unsewen 2 of the blocks today. I hope to get them resewn tonight.
ReplyDeleteDo not feel bad! I had to unsew so many seams when putting the blocks together....

After seeing Ursula's quilt earlier this afternoon I was motivated to get going on my quilt. I spent a couple of hours putting together the rest of the blocks. Now I just need to arrange them and sew them together.
