Hi Bonnie ,Your quilts are all turning out SO beautiful! Have you gone back and checked the linky from Monday? Click HERE to view it!
I was on my way to Quilt Guild when I found this Bumper Snicker while stopping for coffee last night. It was front and center at eye level as I pulled into the 7-11 Stop & Shop here in Traverse City, Michigan.I had to have it and share with you and all the Easy Street Quilters. This is my first Bonnie mystery, but I've always been a fan...The folks on the Yahoo group will love this as many could not find the Clues soon enough when they were posted. We saw this question often.
We are at 198 blog participants as I write this post…..and the linky will be open until 11:59pm Eastern time tonight for those who want to be included in this linky!
You all inspire me so much! Thank you for participating!
Too funny. I thought this might be in reference to that fact that not everyone found this to be easy. But that would constitute whining, and that is against the rules!! Better that it be attributed to the clues not being found fast enough. : )
ReplyDeleteCall me a dork but i love to listen to showtunes when i sew. I' m chunkin' away on Easy Street today and the soundtrack from Annie comes on. Guess what the song was? Easy Street!
ReplyDeleteI have my Easy Street finished! I amazed myself. My first mystery and I loved it. No way would I have attempted this quilt if I had seen the finish first. Thanks so much for empowering me to do this project. I'm already on board for next year!
ReplyDeleteI thought the linky was open until Sunday night! I guess I better get some stitching done so I can write a blog post today.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see mine finished and on the bed.

I just double checked the post for Link up #7 and it says "New links can be added until Sunday, Jan 13th at 11:59pm." Also, the timer at the bottom of the link up page, under the most current links currently says that it closes in 2 days, 7 hours and 37 minutes.
DeleteJust in case, I will try to link later today so that I can be included in the list.

I need that bumper sticker!
ReplyDeleteThe way she has her triangles, I thought she had made one set too big! That picture is awesome!
ReplyDeleteMine has been more Old Cobblestone Road, as opposed to Easy Street. Just how many 4 patches can I place in the wrong direction? Even my seam ripper ran off with nowhere to be found! LOL!! Seriously, my color choices give the quilt a cobblestone appearance since I used pink for the white, and nothing stands out. It is still beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Thanks for the giggle today!
ReplyDeleteI have been taking a slow stroll down Easy Street. Don't want to get to the end.
ReplyDeleteI have a cabinmate for the Alaska Cruise
Hey May, I'm in Traverse City, Michigan too doing Easy Street. Bonnie, there are probably a lot more people doing Easy Street than you realize. Those that do not have a blog, such as myself, but are doing the mystery quilt. This is my first one and I'm almost done, thank you so much. I will be going around town looking for the other Easy Street quilt hanging somehere.
ReplyDeleteAnn and May, I am also in TC and follow Bonnie, we should form a Bonnie Hunter fan club.
DeleteLMBO! I think we would all love to have one of those stickers!! Very cute and thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteLOL!Great bumper sticker. I haven't seen an Easy Street quilt that doesn't look great.
ReplyDeleteBonnie - you inspire us!
Was thinking the same as Ann-there are a lot of us doing this mystery and we don't have blogs to put on the link, so wonder how many total participants there are? And also, every one I've seen is great, love all the colors!
ReplyDeleteThank YOU for doing these mysteries. They must take up so much of your time. It's a pleasure to be involved and to have a beautiful quilt at the end of so many sometimes challenging weeks.
ReplyDeleteMine is done except for getting it quilted. Another awsome quilt. Thank you so much Bonnie for your generosity and sharing your patterns with us all.
ReplyDeleteI can,t wait till the next one comes out.
Så fun to see all the quilts going on. Bonnie - will you please set ut anotehr linky in some/a few weeks so more finished tops can join?
ReplyDeleteThat sign is so funny. My husband actually lived on Easy Street here in Melbourne, FL.
