It was a gorgeous morning for flying! It's sunny and warm in the windy city---and yes the wind is blowing, but gently.
We flew in to a beautiful view of the coastline.
And how lucky is this?? My bags were the first to be delivered at baggage claim!
Just waiting for Pam to pick me up---everything made it for my lecture tonight! Yay!

We love it when trips start off on a good note! Have a ball in that great city!
ReplyDeleteTSA probably sorted through your bags again, delaying them, making them the last on and the first off of the plane!
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Chicago! One of my favorite cities to visit... Lived there for 18 years, love to go back to visit...
See ya Thursday night and all day Friday. I'm taking a break from sewing pinwheels together for class on Friday.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are out of all this rain and chill here on the east coast.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! I bet all your students can't wait to see you and get sewing!
Have fun and Happy Sewing
I agree with Paul above, check that luggage for TSA tags!! More quilting material. Have a good time.
ReplyDeleteFaye in Maine
I love when the plan pulls over Lake Michigan on its way into O'Hare and you can see all of downtown. It's a very dramatic view. Nice that the weather was so clear!
