I hope you have all enjoyed a restful Sunday!
As I type this, early evening sunlight is streaming through the windows, bathing the inside of the cabin with a lovely golden light.
Birds are chirping noisily outside ---
A gusty March wind is blowing my flags around in their own version of a spring time dance.
It’s been a wonderful day!
And I’ve watched it all from INSIDE.
I want to thank you for the kind emails, comments and concerns. I am doing everything my doctor has asked me to do, and everything is progressing as I was told it would.
Without being gross – things are running clear and no longer yellow or green. My abdominal muscles are sore from so much coughing, but coughing has cleared all of this and I am breathing easier.
It’s just going to take some time, and I know what to watch out for and when to get myself back to the doctor should it be required.
Really. I’m a big girl. I’m on the mend!
Let’s draw for our winner of Jo Kramer & Kelli Hanken’s new book, Country Girl Modern ---there were 964 folks who left comments and I am using the random number generator to choose our lucky winner.
Will it be you?
Number 657!
Lorene Holbrook! You lucky girl!
Lorene, I’ve sent you an email. Please get back to me with your snail mail address so I can pass it along to Jo and she will get your book out to you!
Congrats!

This was my progress today!
I finished sewing in filler section #4 surrounding the large star. It is exciting for me to see this coming together ---it’s still a VERY VERY long term project, I’m designing it as I go –and who knows when I will be done. What happens outside the edges of these sections remains to be designed. We shall see!
Tonight is set aside for more binding, and catching up with some more episodes of Alias on Netflix.
Tomorrow morning – heading home!
Enjoy your evening, everyone!
I'm glad you're getting to rest up and are feeling better. I hate to cough so much but sometimes it's for the best.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to hear you are on the mend, and it made me smile to see you understand the importance of coughing! As a respiratory therapist I spend a lot of time telling my patients they really NEED to cough, even if it hurts. Hope you are 100% soon. Your hexagon creation is amazing!!
