Roll Roll Cotton Boll, All Day in Mineola!

20141024_143754
See these silly girls??

They came with custom shirts all ready for our Roll Roll Cotton Boll class complete with appliqued string blocks and a caption that reads “I Come With Strings Attached!!”

What a hoot!

And we did have a hootin’ hollerin’ good ole Texas time at Stitchin’ Heaven Quilt Shop yesterday --

We’ve got folks from as far as Minnesota and Missouri, Arkansas and more, as well as from all over the state of Texas, some coming as far as Corpus Christi to join us for a weekend of quilting fun.

Texas is BIG, Ya’ll!  Some folks within the state drove more than 9 hours….that’s some SERIOUS quilting driving there!  And of course, I’m hearing stories and seeing just what they shop-hopped for all the way across this big country of ours in their pursuit to get here!

Awesome variety and new friends to swap strips with!

Today we’ve got Bricks in the Barnyard up on deck…a whole lot of playing in the scraps making triangles and sewing them into blocks with rectangles and squares, with a group of 31 today!

It’s SEW GOOD to be back in TEXAS!
