  10. Your segment was perfect! If I had never used scraps before, I think you would have changed my mind after viewing the show. However, I do use scraps because you changed my mind a long time ago. Here's hoping you get many more viewers on your blog.

  26. People: Put 'the quilt show' in your search engine, follow the 'join now' info for the free/basic membership. Then go back to Quiltville and hit the 'here' link in this post to go to the segment and chapters of Bonnie on the show.
It is good! Bonnie, you come across comfortable and the 'scrap-lover' shines!
BTW, there is nothing so heart-mending as walking behind an ever-joyful doggie on a walk!

I have a plastic shoe box full of everything already cut out and ready to make Jamestown Landing. I even have all the string blocks finished, pressed and trimmed. However, most of my sewing studio is now packed (we are moving next Wednesday) so it might be a while yet before JT becomes a reality.

  54. Love the "Jamestown Landing" quilt and name; blues and neutrals/tans are a favorite combo. It will go on my list to make. Loved seeing the show, you did a great job. Now I want to go play with the half star blocks, and see if I have enough neutrals for some good strings. Thanks for sharing the link!
