Quilt, Michelle, Quilt!

I spent a few days with the Piecing Partners guild in Colorado Springs this past week.

When you spend several days with a group, you get to know them – fabulous ladies!

Michelle is one who has taken the Scrap User’s System approach to heart, and is cranking out quilts left and right, some projects as the leaders & enders for the others!

She brought her quilts to show during the lunch hour of one of our classes, and I just want to share them with you because she did such a fabulous job.

I posted this photo from our slide show of our Pfeffernusse class – Michelle is on the right – FUN GIRL!

Chunky Churndash!

Chunky Churndash is a super easy and fun project, found under the free patterns tab at the top of the blog.  Michelle participated in a block swap for her blocks, and it is so fun to see the fabrics that are in it!  Just waiting for borders and finishing ---She is a busy mom with busy kids, and we all know how that goes.  Sometimes our quilting is the only sanity-maker in our lives, and it comes in fits and starts in between everything else that busy moms are responsible for taking care of.

Thanks for sharing your quilts, Michelle!  I can’t wait to see what else you get done in your busy life!

  4. Hey, That's the Michelle I met last year in December when I took her a quilt for the Waldo Canyon Fire. She also works and teaches at the High Country Quilts. I missed seeing her when I was in CO earlier this month. Great job on her quits. I hadn't seen any of these on her BLOG.
