2 Hours of Quilt Festival!

20141101_160026
What would you do if you only had 2 hours to explore the world’s largest Quilt Festival held in Houston, Texas every Fall?

Would you choose vendors?

Would you choose to view the quilts?

Or would you search out friends and other folk you’ve been wanting to meet?

I will choose PEOPLE every time!

When we checked into our hotel, I found that Festival didn’t end at 5pm, it ended at 6pm! And it was only 3:45pm!  2 hours!!

We headed right over after I called my friend Mary Koval to let her know we were here.

I am writing this on the fly because our shuttle to the ship in Galveston will soon be here…so I am just calling this post the FACES of Quilt Festival!

The quilts will come later Smile

Two hours is not enough time to see all of this!!

And there were other folks I was so happy to see, but they were busy in their booths so I didn’t make them stop for photo ops….just so happy to stop and say hello, how are you, good to see you, catch you next time!

And with that….we are off to catch our shuttle for our cruise!!  Whoowhooo!
