Mystery Monday Link-Up, Part 4!

We are ROLLING down Easy Street!  Are you having a good time with it?

As we get farther in ((We are about 1/2 way done now)) things will get really exciting as designs start to emerge and pieces start to fall together.

And I promise....the next step will NOT have flying geese!

Let's see how you did this week -- please link up your blog below!

Here’s a repeat of what you need to know to participate in the linky:

You don’t need a blog to participate in the mystery – but you DO need a blog if you want to share a blog post about your progress with me here.  You can’t link to picasa or to facebook.  Those of you who have linked with me before know that I do have some rules:

If you have never done a linky with me before, please click HERE and read the tutorial through so you know how to find the right address for your post BEFORE you start.

You must link to the SPECIFIC post on your blog, not just your main blog address.  To find the url for the specific post, go to your blog and click on the title of the post you want to link.  Look in the address bar at the top of your browser.  The address of your post should end in .html

PLEASE LEAVE OFF the http:// part at the beginning of your blog address when you fill in your info below or it WON'T WORK.  The form auto-adds that for you.

*NOTE* Your blog address does NOT include the @ symbol!  That's for email addresses only, and that won't work either!

Your blog must be view-able to ALL, not just a handful of people that you have invited.  If your blog is private, please don't link up.  It's frustrating to those who click to view and are told they can't.

If you link to “just” your main blog address, I’ll have to delete your link and have you try again because I can’t fix it for you.

You can link ANY progress of ANY step on any of the Link-Ups.  For instance, if we are on a Link-UP for part 4 – and you are just on part 1, you can still link that.  Just SHARE where you are!

In your post – please link back to THIS POST: http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2012/12/mystery-monday-link-up-part-4.html not just to Quiltville.blogspot.com.  I post more than once a day, so if someone clicks a link on your page to just my main address – they likely won’t find the link-up. That will only take them to the latest post on the blog.  They won't find any of the other links that people have placed on this page.  It will be a dead end street for them.  Make your link post specific.

New links can be added until Thurs Dec 20th at 11:59pm.  If you miss that link-up, just wait for the next Monday.
If you are interested, there is a flicker group set up for the mystery and you can see what they have been sharing HERE.

Have at it, Peeps!  I’m anxious to see what you’ve been up to!

  1. I am still looking for my ruler. I have everything cut but the wings. I have searched my sewing table, the leftover wing fabric from step 3, the string bin, mystery quilt boxes (finished pieces and fabric choices)...nothing. I'm sure this was my 3 year old helping.

  2. Bonnie you have quite a group of designers besides quilters going here. Maybe sometime you could do a block design challenge to give these artists an outlet for their creativity. Or maybe let them each create a block for a scrappy quilt for a group project and everyone could vote on final blocks. They're all sure talented!

  6. I am just loving this mystery, even if I sign my name Grandpa's Pearl instead of Grandma's Pearl....My mind must be somewhere else today. Thanks Bonnie, this has been so much FUN! Looking forwad to next week and this just goes to show that it doesn't make any difference what time of the year it is we can still find time to sew....

  7. Fun to see the design ideas folks come up with! I looked at mine and had no idea what they could turn into and look at all the possibilities everyone is thinking of! I am only doing half numbers for a baby quilt I hope that will work. At least I have been able to keep up.

  10. Yes, I am learning so much and having a BLAST! Can't wait each Friday to get to it -- or in my Case -- Do NOT sew your purple goose side from Clue 2 TO the purple goose side on Clue 4 -- You get.... Purple Diamonds!! hahaha Glad I have tons of fabric and redo those 63 (I actually checked the first one so that came out right), then my Pfaff said no more, changed out to my Viking, rewind bobbins, etc.. Brain fart totally. Or this could be a lovely Design change? :-)
Thanks Bonnie for the opportunity to learn and have fun

  11. Hi,

It is the first time I participate in one of your mystery quilt, and I like it so far.

The way you divided your quilt in segments, one for each week, made me realize that I might be able to do other complicated (what I thought) quilts.

    Thanks for the challenge,

    Carole Y. in Canada
