iPhone-o-Gram!! Yummy!

The quilt on the machine is finished!

Binding has been chosen and cut –

I enjoyed a 2 hour nap!

DH returned home from a day out dirtbike riding and we found ourselves at our local barbecue haunt-- Little Richard's!

What's on the menu?

Half a barbecue chicken – a basket full of hush puppies – baked beans and a bowl of potato salad!

This is how we do barbecue in the South!

I think this shall fortifieme just fine for Quilt cam tonight at 9 PM EST!

See you here! :-)

    1. Hush puppies are a bread-like item. Cornmeal is made into a thick batter, usually seasoned with onions and/or other savory goodness, and dropped into hot oil and fried.

They're the small round objects in the basket on the left in the photo. :)

  3. Hush puppies are sort of like deep friend corn bread. Some people put corn and diced onions in them. Very good & very fattening, but taste sooo good!

  4. Are you sure you will be able to move after eating all that? UGH, I feel full just thinking about it, but I sure am drooling! (Slurp!)

  5. Crikey Bonnie, I'd explode if I ate all that, especially the deep fried brown suede shoes.

  7. I had 2 popcorn balls and a plate of sauteed fresh snap peas for dinner ... DH is away and I'm just "foraging" ... NOT a healthy way to live! Linda

    1. Oh, I love the combos you get when foraging--some of my favorite dinners. AND you got some of the popcorn Bonnie was talking about in her last post!

  9. Favourite Christmas song? Outside the traditional hymns...I fall for "I'll be Home for Christmas" every time I hear it -- especially if sung by Bing Crosby.

  10. Maybe the "Wounded Warrior" quilt should be dedicated to the gal who crushed her finger? Just sayin'! :-)
