Forest Jane has done it again!

She has created a batch of Celtic Solstice badges for use on your blogs and websites!  The one here at the top of the page is the largest and we have a couple of other sizes too.

We really appreciate her efforts every year in keeping us in cool graphics, and this year she has done a beautiful job!

Check them out:

Right click on the images above to save them to your computer.  Upload them to your blog side bars as desired.  Please include a link back to my blog if you know how to hyperlink an image so that when someone clicks it --they find themselves here!

She has also designed an array of Celtic Solstice items on ZAZZLE.  All profits from the purchase of Quiltville Zazzle items go toward the purchase of materials for charity quilts like Project Linus.  The margins are set at the lowest profit margin possible, and what is earned goes for things like backing and batting for quilt causes.  Click HERE to view the Zazzle Shop!

I also received an email from Logan Simmons about a Viking Husqvarna give away I thought some of you might be interested in.

He writes:

Happy New Year Bonnie!
I wanted to check back with you today to see if you plan to share information about the Countdown to Kickoff: HUSQVARNA VIKING® Giveaway (which ends on Monday!) on your blog, Facebook and/or Twitter.

Emerald116_579x338_HERO

I’m sure your fans and followers would be super excited to win a new Emerald 116 Series sewing machine, and all they need to do is “Like” Husqvarna Viking USA’s Facebook page and submit an answer to the question, “What is the most unusual place or project you have sewn with your machine?”
A winner will be selected at random on January 6 when Auburn takes on Florida State in the BCS National Championship game!!
Could you please help us spread the word?
Okay.  Word Spread!  Image of machine shown…click the link above to like Husqvarna’s FB page above and leave an answer as stated above to be entered to win.

What a fun packed post! The Solstice badges giveaway the design. What a great looking quilt this will be.

I love my Viking Sapphire 855. Wishing for the 875, but it was $10K!!!! And didn't need to embroidery unit that has to go with the sewing machine. Te auto thread cutter is a wonderful idea...oh well, my 855 is a gem. With Sophie the Sapphire and FW the Hummer - I can sew anything. UMMM, but I might sign up to try for that machine.

THANKS BONNIE

I ordered the shirt and pin this morning. I was so happy to see that this was endorsed by you and the proceeds will benefit Project Linus. Looking forward to showing off my shirt with my quilt :-)

I'v eadded the badge to my Sidebar with the link back to the Pattern for now. When you remove it from the BLOG I can change it to the main Blog. I have 6 Blocks made so far and have been playing with my Scraps all day. I'll have to go and try for the Viking machine. Thanks!

When you purchase a vintage machine, do they work or do you have them worked on?

Love the badge and would like to add it to my blog. I am very new and can't figure out how to do it. I managed to get the Celtic Solstice button on there, but can't remember how I did it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Bonnie, I just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE Celtic Solstice! Definitely one of your best mysteries. It is right up there with Double Delight in my 'favorite mysteries'. Thank you!

Hi Bonnie, I will be using one of these badges on my Celtic Solstice quilt label. I like to give credit to the designer on my labels and this will be perfect. I usually use the PC to design and print out my quilt labels onto treated fabric. Thanks for sharing!
