It's 72 degrees in the sunshine and we are enjoying our lunch on the patio!
The guild is spoiling me rotten with home cooked soups every day! Today I have Italian wedding soup without noodles since I eat gluten-free. There are grilled cheese sandwiches for those who can have them, and wheat free polenta topped with melted cheese for those of us who can't do wheat!
Today's Virginia bound class is well underway and stars are appearing!
Take a look at these happy quilters
This was close enough for me to attend and I missed it. ARRRGGGHHH!
ReplyDeleteWish I was in Florida with you. Everyone looks as though they are having a great time.
ReplyDeleteWell, it is 66 degrees in Little Rock and I just returned from a walk in the woods. Complete sunshine and fine weather. What could be better after spending the morning quilting!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be about 6 degrees tonight in the snowy Northeast. Jealous, you betcha !
ReplyDeleteI'm crying because I'm down here alone from WY and just a bit North of you near Tampa. I want to be there quilting with you and these wonderful ladies in your pics?? What guild are they? Is this a workshop? I wanna come WAHHH! (Lucille Ball cry)
ReplyDeleteI just learned of you on the Inboxjaunt blogspot! Lori Kennedy's blog. She's a wonderful FMQ quilter and shares her How-tos!! Post more pics! Ness

Love this pattern - very masculine looking. "SOMEDAY!"
ReplyDeleteYup, Fl is a wonderful place in the winter months. Do not go there July through Sept. No way!

Hi Bonnie- know the ladies were the ones who made the soups, but was wondering if rice could be used in place of the noodles to give wedding soup a little more "substance" I am trying to cut gluten from my diet too, but hate the idea of giving up pizza and pasta! I found a pretty good corn pasta substitute for spaghetti, but it is very limited in pasta variety.
ReplyDeleteNo, no - get back in the cold with the rest of us! Snow coming tomorrow, wish I could transport myself to where you are for a while!
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
It would be so nice to have warm enough weather to eat outside. Here in Nebr. the wind is blowing like crazy, the wind chill must be close to zero and we have occasional snow showers--some pretty heavy. Florida warmth would be good.
ReplyDeleteBonnie,It was a very nice lunch on the patio. I so enjoyed our day. I forgot to take off my green sewing classes in the picture, too funny.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric in my Road to Virginia quilt blocks is how I will always return to that day and our meeting. The memory is embedded in the fabric and I will always treasure it. It was so nice to meet you and everyone in the class. TO Scraps, Bonnie!!!
How would you like an assistant. I would love to travel with you & have fun everyday too.
