We've got gals from all over the great state of Texas from as far away as San Antonio and even Corpus Christi with us – if we quilt it, they will come!
We can't show you what we are working on yet, as it is a surprise!
But don't worry, this project will be making an appearance in an issue of quiltmaker magazine during the coming year – we will keep you informed of when that will appear!
In the meantime – we are having fun playing in the scraps, getting to know each other, and filling the room with Quilty chatter and much laughter :-)
With love from all of us –

ReplyDeleteTell some of the girls from the Compass Centre retreat (the one after Thanksgiving) that Brenda from Arkansas says hello and I sure wish I was there.
ReplyDeleteBonnie Hunter you are such a quiltie TEASE! You know we all want to see this new idea...gee, talk about keeping us waiting lol.
ReplyDeleteAren't Texas folk just about the best ever? Never have been there that we haven't been treated wonderfully. They also 'love us' because we are from Blount County Tennessee - the birth place Sam Houston!! Dave Crocket and several other notables served Texas well too were from our state.
Now how about a CLUE?

ReplyDeleteHello Bonnie,
ReplyDeleteI want to wish you a very happy 2014. Thank you for your great blog. I really love your style and colours, and you gave me a lot of quilting inspiration. Please continue to do so the next year.
Kind regards,Betty from the Netherlands.
It looks like you are all having a whale of a time; wish I was there with you. I must say, one of the blocks in the first photo looks suspiciously like one of the Celtic Solstice blocks - hence the 'mystery' I'm guessing. Am I right?
