Some Valentine’s Day Quilt Love All Around!

I hope you have had a wonderful Valentine’s day, however you have spent it!

It’s been a very busy action packed double duty day here in the San Antonio area ---

Setting up for a morning presentation on the other side of town ---

A very busy guild meeting followed by a half day Scrap Crystals workshop filled up the day and by the time we were back to Irene’s house a nap was number one on my horizon!

But welcomes go hugely big in Texas.

Check this out:

Yeeehaww!!

I’m so proud of my students – look what they brought to show & share:

Texas Tumbleweed from yesterday’s workshop!

Pattern found in my book MORE Adventures with Leaders & Enders.

Today’s workshop in progress!

Scrap Crystals is also found in MORE Adventures with Leaders & Enders.  More photos in tomorrow morning’s slide show!

Tonight the agenda includes a bit of pizza hut, Gilmore Girls on Netflix and loads of sewing for both Irene and myself – I’m away from home, and she is home alone as her hubby is out on business.

In my younger years this would have left me lonely and piney on a Valentine’s Day.

NOW?  It’s perfect!  Pizza, and a sewing evening with a friend ---

Bring it on!

  1. Hi Bonnie, Glad to hear you having a great time in Texas. It's snowing here..not much but enough to cover the ground. Just working on my necktie quilt..halfway there. Enjoy Texas.

  4. Bonnie, San Antonio sounds like a perfect place to be right now! It's freezing here in Ohio! I'm curious, could one start using leaders & enders with the second book or would I need the first one to understand the best way to get started & set up? So many of the quilts I've seen you show off that I'd love to try are from the "More" book. Also, does it come electronically & if so, is it doable in that format or maybe too difficult? Thanks for answers whenever you have a moment.

  5. I joined today at the meeting in San Antonio. I loved your program even if I was overwhelmed. Just starting out I am excited about knowing what to keep and how to store it. You were dynamic and fun. I learned alot, thank you!
