Evening Edition ---Free Kindle Book!

After I sent my last post, I went browsing --- and this came up as a freebie!  I was going to wait til morning to send it, but then realized that it might not be free by morning!  These things are sometimes only available for a couple hours ---or one day---or whatever Amazon deems it to be available…so….consider this an extra!

Napoleon’s Pyramids is free in the Amazon Kindle Store.

Genre: Historical Thriller
Book Description:
What mystical secrets lie beneath the Great Pyramids?

The world changes for Ethan Gage—one-time assistant to the renowned Ben Franklin—on a night in post-revolutionary Paris, when he wins a mysterious medallion in a card game.

Framed soon after for the murder of a prostitute and facing the grim prospect of either prison or death, the young expatriate American barely escapes France with his life—choosing instead to accompany the new emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte, on his glorious mission to conquer Egypt.

With Lord Nelson’s fleet following close behind, Gage sets out on the adventure of a lifetime. And in a land of ancient wonder and mystery, with the help of a beautiful Macedonian slave, he will come to realize that the unusual prize he won at the gaming table may be the key to solving one of history’s greatest and most perilous riddles: who built the Great Pyramids . . . and why?
I love stuff like this ---and it was free still when I downloaded it just before writing this post.  Hopefully it still will be for you too!

Remember, you don’t HAVE to have a kindle to read this.  You can read it on your computer or laptop via the kindle cloud app on amazon, or you can download the free kindle app for your smart phone or tablet.

And who knows –---Santa MIGHT be bringing you a kindle for Christmas! Even if you don’t have one yet, if you go ahead and download it to your account on Amazon, it will stay on your personal bookshelf forever ---so it will be ready to transfer over when you DO get a kindle or a phone or tablet that can use a kindle app.

And with that…I’m off to go find a cozy corner and do a bit of reading!

Thanks for sharing all the free downloads from Amazon. I don't have a Kindle yet, but have started downloading these free books to have a supply of reading material when I do get one.
    Thank you for your generosity.

  3. Thanks so much for letting us know of these free books on Amazon. Thanks to you, I have downloaded quite a few over the last year (almost all of them!) and have read the majority. It is so nice to read new authors... and some of them had me getting the other books in the series so I could continue the saga. Thanks again for opening me up to a bunch of new books to read!
Enjoy your holidays. Oh - don't worry, age is just a number. I am friends with a 75 year old and I just wish I had half her energy at my 39 that she does at 75!
