Lunch break at our spider web workshop with the Umpqua Valley Quilters!
Piles of strips, bags of scraps--bins and boxes and buckets galore!
It's a really great group of gals, and the machines are humming happily along!
It is so fun to see these piles of scraps turn rapidly into really fun blocks!

Bonnie, that is such a great pattern, as such. Using our colorful scraps makes it even better.

I so want to do this quilt along with many more of yours!
ReplyDeleteLove the scraps picture!! I have been using shirt collars and cuffs for strip blocks. Fun
ReplyDeleteI'm working on one with red kites and light colored shirtings for the webs....hmmmm I need to get those blocks closer to the top of the pile!
ReplyDeleteThis one is on my bucket list! I have an overflowing strings drawer right now! I've also seen this done with selvedges.
