I’ve spent the morning at the computer designing a mystery quilt I’m doing in Quiltmaker Magazine this coming Spring!
It will occur over 3 issues, and it’s not anything I can show on QuiltCam, but I’m ready for some mindless piecing!
I have BOXES of 2” strips, and I’m in the mood for some 9 patch strip set sewing.
I’m turning the camera on!

OMG, Bonnie! This is FAB!!! But, I'm not getting the sound when you speak...even though I've turned the volume way up! What to do? But this is GREAT!! ~Vicki in CT
ReplyDeleteCan only hear the ads, but love to watch.
ReplyDeleteROTFLMBO!!! Now, how is anyone gonna get any quilting done if they sit at the computer to watch something else quilt?? This kee-iills me! :)

ReplyDeleteI see you but can't hear you.... it's weirly funny
ReplyDeleteWatching from Missouri but can not hear you either. I like the way you sew those different length strips together. You are so smart, thanks for sharing. Tanya from Springfield, MO
ReplyDeleteI see your lips move, but no sound. Kind of like an old silent movie.
ReplyDeleteAm watching from here in the UK - fun! I can't get any sound either, but it's cool to see you at work all that way away :)
ReplyDeleteWAtching from Canada no sound except for the commercials,
ReplyDeleteLove this idea; learning; but no sound; any suggestions as to how we can get the sound?
ReplyDeleteGreat fun!

Same thing - no sound, but such a fun concept! I'm heading to my own machine to sew the day away - I'll check back later to see if anyone has a solution for the audio. I see future virtual quilt retreats - even shut ins will be able to play!
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love this! Thanks, Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteUhm... no sound :(
DeleteNo sound - but love, love, love your studio!!
ReplyDeleteno sound here either... but it's still great to watch you.
ReplyDeleteok....I am gonna stop watching....and go sew....now that I see how you get so much done...I am motivated!!! Girl, you sew FAST!!!! Have a great day!! I need to catch up on Randy's Sow a long!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!At least I know that I am not the only one who can't get the sound. I will check in later to see if there is something I can do on my end. Makes me want to go down and sew too but have to do work instead. Have to pay for my addiction, uh hobbie somehow.
ReplyDeleteSorry I can't sit here and watch you sew. You did give me a kick in the pants though, off to my own machine I go. Have fun. :)

ReplyDeletemissed it all... :(
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to watch it later if we miss the broadcast time?
Thanks too! This may just be the motivator I need.
So far it's just live streaming which means it isn't recorded...recorded video could end up being huge files.

Hi Bonnie from the west coast.
ReplyDeleteHearing you loud and clear all the way over here in Scotland Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteI'll be back! I just needed a lunch break and I couldn't text my friend and iron and eat lunch all at the same time!
ReplyDeleteNow you too, go get some stitching on!
Oh - what a shame! You've gone now. There was no sound here in France either. I could see that you were trying to share things with us all - but had no idea what you were saying. Teething problems I hope but such a shame after all your efforts.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope I'm online to catch the next one of these. :>)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the Mystery Quilt in Quiltmaker!!! I've been trying to make some headway on their Garden series quilt. Lot's of paper piecing. But it will be great when it's done
Maybe a quick post yelling us what time you will be on.... Then we will know to watch.... I missed it again... too busy sewing....
ReplyDeleteYES! Please do make a quick post as to an an approx time when you may be on the live cam again, I would love to watch! Thanks! Nancy from Kansas
ReplyDeleteWhen will your mystery quilt run?
ReplyDeleteBonnie, you inspire me even when you are not here... I'm hanging around to check the feed now and again, so I've got to do something that's easy to pick up and put down but isn't so engrossing that I forget to check... So I am ironing and folding fabric I'm pre-washing and getting it all neat and orderly on the shelves. So if you aren't back for a while, I will have a very productive afternoon!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't 40 something and beyond, that wonderful magical time when what we want to do and how we want to do it is just going to happen no matter ... I love it myself.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry I missed you Bonnie! I think the cam idea would be fun! I'm so sorry that thoughtless people's comments are hurtful. People do that! Keep having fun and letting us join you Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteHi Bonnie! I live in an area where I would have to travel a bit to see you when you go on the road, (but believe me, I do keep checking your calender and a map to see when I can!) So this quilt cam thing is great for me, since now I feel like we have met! You inspire me to sew and try new things ALL the time! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteOh shoot!! I missed it. Dang it!! Well I sure hope you do it again. I try super hard to stay on my iPhone all day but somehow I missed this :-(
ReplyDeleteThis is great.Posting is a good thing.....
ReplyDeleteWell Phooey, it won't work at all for me. It says, "Off Air." What can I do?
