iPhone-O-Gram---ugh!!

I had an hour this am to sew before class.

I didn't intend to spend half of it un-sewing what I had sewed in wrong. But somehow---this just will NOT do!! Lol!

Ughhhhhh!!!!

  5. I had this happen when I was putting the rows together on my Orca Bay, one of my hour glasses on one of the white blocks was turned the wrong way, talk about an oh no moment, I about died, but like you, I rippetted it and made it right ;)

  6. Rip-it, rip-it-; I should do more "frogging" than I do, but if it's more than 1/2-way through, I just muddle it in; not one of my better traits...... Julierose

  7. Oh no! But look at it this way - you're giving a certain set of muscles a good, well-needed workout!

  11. The photo made that yellow look almost green and I thought you were changing colors mid-quilt!
I don't know how many Floribunda posts I have read where things were sewn together wrong--including mine! Welcome to the club! : )

Iknow the feeling. Today I began sewing a block to Dear Jane. It was going so well, till I realized I switch the fabrics......HAHA, not funny.

  15. Oh, man - don't you just HATE that!! I like to use little mini-design boards to help keep my block "units" in order until I get them together - they really are the coolest little things. ;))

My sister just sewed an entire quilt top together and then discovered that the directions she was following were wrong. Ugh! Had to unsew 1/3 of the top to redo. Very discouraging! Lesson learned-Always look at the directions and make sure everything looks right before sewing. Designers are human and make mistakes too.:? Judy at claytonja@live.com
