It's coming down out there! DH just went to park Shamu at the top of the driveway afraid that we wouldn't be able to get up the icy slope come 3am tomorrow.
Here I was so worried about the weather for my PA/MD trip---who'd have thunk it that I'd have trouble getting to Florida??
It's really beginning to flurry now. This was just before dark. I left the porch light on for ya!

You sure have a pretty house. I have much more snow here than you, but in the am you may be in trouble.. Hopefully not! Be careful!
ReplyDeleteBy now you should have a pretty good layer of snow on the ground as we do just east of you outside Greensboro. It's an inch or two and still coming down. Hope you can get out OK! And also, shouldn't you have said "I left the porch light on for y'all? You are in the south, you know.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! We had snow today in Nashville too but it didn't stick around long. It was very pretty while it lasted! Sending traveling angels with you tomorrow =^..^=
ReplyDeletesorry, if it's snowing there i'm not coming...LOL
ReplyDeleteWe had big fat flakes for about 30 minutes here in So. MD. and then it turned to rain. Two days ago the weather man was saying the "epicenter was going to be Mechanicsville, just north of me. Then he changed his mind. Looks like we'll get flurries and nothing more. I'm commenting so maybe I'll jinks us here, lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy Trails!
This is so wrong. I'm in Upstate NY and you have more snow than I do right now!
ReplyDeleteYikes, I just looked outside to make sure. They keep talking about rain turning to snow but as of now, at 8:20 pm, nothing's happening. Kinda cold out there though. Have a good trip tomorrow, with no delays!
ReplyDeleteAlways good to keep the porchlight on.(I think there is a motel chain with somewhat the same motto)....love reading your posts, Bonnie. You seem to have the slightly ironic, always comedic take on life that I do....looking forward to our class in April at VCQ Celebration
ReplyDeleteIs that your adorable house? I love it and the pretty area around it! Doesn't look like that here in SO CA! And we don't have any of that pretty snow either, just beach! But I would love some! Safe travels, Sheri
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the snow. We may have had 63F temps here in So. Ca. (still cold for me), but you have a much better view from your front door: trees and nature.
ReplyDeleteSafe trip Bonnie. I'll be thinking of you early in the a.m. We expect that here in Maine but not where you are.
ReplyDeleteMaryella
Have a safe trip! Hope the snow won't stop your progress

ReplyDeleteSafe travels!! xo
ReplyDeleteI live in Chanhassen, MN (Minneapolis area) and you have more snow than we do. Hope you make your flight.
ReplyDeleteHopefully Florida will be warm and sunny!
ReplyDeleteSafe trip there and back, Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm in the very small minority but, I love winter and snow. I just love watching the flakes fall, swirling in the wind. I cross country ski and love nothing better than skiing while its snowing. Take care on your drive.
