Utterly and Completely Addicted to Scraps!

20150126_192700
Hooray for the scraps, the bonus triangles, the pre-cut squares!

They are making the sewing of my Twirl Around blocks from my Addicted to Scraps colum in the March/April 2015 issue of Quiltmaker Magaazine so simple!

I’m working on some quilts made using the blocks from the Addicted to Scraps series, and this one was just released in the latest Quiltmaker issue.

Have you seen it?

If you’ve got it you can sew right along with me!  Each issue also includes an optional layout, or you can go your own way as to what you want to do with these little gems.

Feel free to change the colors, the style of the fabrics, and make it your own!

Pinks & Neutrals in all of their variety!

These were left from a Sister’s Choice quilt finished last year.

You’ll find these inside as well as part 1 of a new mystery by Debbie Caffrey:

Lori assembling her Jewel Box quilt!

We’ve had a great day of sewing and relaxing, including a trip down to our Buck Mountain waterfall, the pond with the gazebos, and beautiful mountain views.

16 bean soup and ham has cooked all day in the crockpot, perfect for an easy and wonderful meal.

More sewing ahead this evening!

Love from all of us on Buck Mountain --

  8. Hi to the sewing girls in Quilt Villa on Buck Mountain. it is very nice to be able to join you via the web. I was thinking what great fun it would be to have a quilt cam session with the three of you. I am following Lori and Randy off and on as time allows.
I like the unusual colours the bright green with the pink. It looks like strawberries that are not quite ripe yet. So ready for colours to return to the wintery outdoors. Great design Bonnie.
