One Pineapple, Two Pineapple, Three Pineapple, Four!

20140918_113912-1
We were in a pineapple kind of mood yesterday!

I am so impressed with the whole venue here in Amherst, NY.

This seminar has been going on for 40 years strong, and it is so well organized.  If you get a chance to come this direction in September – if you are close enough to make a road trip ---believe me, it’s worth it!

Being this far north in New York, my classes have been nearly equally Canadian as they are American ---fun!

We also had quite a  contingency of Scottish Canadians with us…..including MASCOTS!

This is for those who attend the Dear Jane retreats in Shipshewana – do you recognize this guy??

Shougal McDougal!

Shougal McDougal the Highland Coo travels around wherever quilters gather and has been known to create mischeif in Shipshewana --- here he is in Amherst!

Pineapple Blossom, Amherst, NY 2014

No sewing happened last night.  I was in bed by 7:30 ---and asleep by 9:30 after a couple episodes I barely watched of Law & Order SVU – I just couldn’t make myself do ANYTHING!  But I’m happy to report after a full night of blissful restful sleep – I’m up and at it and raring to go for today’s Crumbs, Crumbs, Crumbs workshop.

Let’s Sew!

  1. Sometimes you just need to crash and let your body have a good long rest. Have fun today!

  3. Bonnie - you should write a wonderful "MY-travels-and- places-I-have-Been book! More flying miles than anyone on earth for sure.

The photos of the class are terrific... what a great time they are having.
