I know you were expecting a lunch time Galaxy-Gram from my phone today – but guess what??
Our workshop is so far out that there is no phone reception, and no wifi ---so all those lovely pics I took are waiting for tomorrow morning’s slide show to be posted!
Instead, I wanted to share with you the lovely quilts the ladies brought to my Tumelo Trail workshop in Davison.
I truly love and am so honored when you bring a quilt you made with my designs to share with me and everyone else. It adds to the event – it inspires us all. I really loved seeing Celtic Solstice brought out to play! This one way has some of the alternate blocks turned “inside out” so you see stars inside some of the circles, and diamonds in the others.
Isn’t it wonderful?
Another Celtic Solstice, with all of the alternate blocks as diamonds.
Each quilt is so differently beautiful!
This is the back of Letty’s! Fabulously using all the leftovers from the front!
This is Letty’s Roll Roll Cotton Boll from String Fling!
She has also been busy on our leader & ender challenges each year!
This is Letty’s Cheddar Bowties from MORE Adventures with Leaders & Enders!
How is YOUR Split 9-Patch challenge coming along?
Letty’s top is ready for quilting..isn’t it great?
You'll find the free pattern for Split 9-Patch under the free patterns tab at the top of the blog.
I LOVE show and share time – I love seeing what you do….it inspires me so much!
I have fun whenever and wherever Letty shows up!
The weather in Michigan has just been OUTSTANDING. High 70s today. Looks like the same tomorrow. This just can not be beat!
There may be rain on my return home on Monday, but as long as my flights get out on time, I don’t care – this has been a September to remember in every sense of the word!
I am set up in the little kitchenette at my hotel to sew!
Chris has loaned me her featherweight for some evenings of quiet hotel sewing!
You can see that THIS iron is NOT bolted to the ironing board!
I do travel with the clip-on IKEA light in my suitcase. It doesn’t weigh very much, it didn’t cost very much, and hotels rarely if ever have enough light, so it is a crucial essential in my travel.
Close up of Box Kite blocks!
There will be more sewing going on this evening ----
Have a great Saturday night, everyone!
LOVE Letty's CS back! ♥
ReplyDeleteI live with only a land line and zero cell phone service and often feel very backward, LOL! But then, I'm never interrupted by my phone when I'm out and about or on the road.
ReplyDeleteLetty is a powerhouse of sewing and her interpretations of your designs are marvelous!
Wonderful show and tell! Michigan weather has been fantastic lately! Glad you were able to catch some.
