ReplyDeleteI've been a Lori Holt fan for a while. My cousin is one of her SEW Buddies. They live in the same town in Utah. Overload of Talent in that lady!!! Have you seen her MASH-Up blocks she is doing with her MiniRetreats? Like I said, I'm a FAN. I love 30's prints and hers fit right in with them. I watched Alex on PBS way back when I lived on the family Farm. She is a great Teacher too. You are the one I credit with going totally SCRAPPY though! Thanks for getting me out of the matchy-matchy box. Thanks for bringing more to your Website.

ReplyDeleteI took classes from Alex Anderson back when she was just starting in TV - like early 90's! She is a really great teacher and a nice person (like Bonnie!)
A dear friend Kelley Davis that passed away last week had a funny story to tell about Alex Anderson. In the early 90's Kelley was new to quilting. She loved going to Houston and taking classes. One of those she signed up for was Alex Anderson. When she got to the class she was totally surprised to discover that Alex was not a guy. Kelley was my quilting, and traveling friend for almost 3 decades and I will really miss her.
