iPhone-o-Gram! Leg stretching time!!

Hello from Verona, VA!

I've come back to spend more time at that antique mall I rushed through on my way home from Pennsylvania last trip.

This time here at lunch time!

What else will I find??

  1. Oh, man. There are some benefits to all the traveling and driving you do after all. Would LOVE to be able to wander in there and touch and look up close and personal. Good therapy. Have a safe trip.

  2. I'd skip lunch to be able to wander through this place. That machine & cabinet are beautiful! Enjoy!

  4. We were in Verona 2 weeks ago. Is that sewing machine the one that was completely painted in black so that you couldn't turn the wheel or get to the bobbin case? Thought it was a shame that someone would do that to an old machine.

Was the white Featherweight still in the center furniture section?

Took us 7 hours to get through the entire place.

  5. How "convenient" that your route just happened to go back through Verona! :) Sounds like our family trips where I make sure the route takes us through someplace with a fabric shop!

  6. I wish I was tagging along. The scrappy tumbler is another quilt on my list to make.

Take me with you on your next trip. Wow that is a Disneyland.

  8. Thanks for sharing the pretties along the way. Travel safe. These are remembered by taking pictures of them, even though they have been forgotten by the relatives of those who made them, right? Gotta plan another Antique Mall trip for myself.

  9. Love, love, love that tumbler quilt!
Wow, I'd get lost in there and forget I was on a road trip and had to be somewhere!

  10. I'll be travelling from TN up through VA to williamsburg. You are going to have to steer me in the direction of a featherweight. My mom has hinted at wanting one and I'd like to give her one for her birthday or Christmas. I've wanted one myself, but haven't run into one yet.
