Galaxy-Gram! When power and wifi go out!

There was a huge power outage due to a tree this afternoon. The power surge killed my son Jeff's computer, and left us without internet access.

This couldn't come at a worse time, I need my internet access to be able to complete part 2 of the grand illusion mystery that is supposed to be released in the morning.

I'll get to it as I can get to it!

Until then, keep your fingers crossed that my internet comes back up speedily and we can carry on with the way things are supposed to be from here on out.

Suffice it to say, this has not been the easiest week for me, the only really good thing is that all of is is happening when I am not out on the road.

Lets hope that the internet comes back up quickly!

Without the internet I am also unable to print invoices and mailing labels to get all of these book orders out.

I feel like the universe is conspiring to tell me that I need to just slow down, and because I don't listen very well it is taking matters into its own hands.

If this is the worst that can happen this week, it's all good, right?
I will let you know when things are back up and running.

Posting from my phone -

Bonnie

I hope Sadie is showing signs of improvement and will be back to herself soon!
About my book order.....don't worry about it. As long as I have it by April, when you're here, I'll be happy.
    Good thoughts and prayers,

  3. Poor Bonnie - I agree it is a sign that you need to realize that you are human and need to store the cape until after Christmas.

  15. One day at a time Bonnie. Don't sweat the small stuff, or at least that was what I learned while my husband was ill. Maybe that was why my book order wouldn't process. LOL

Bonnie, please don't worry about us, if clue #2 has to be put off then that's fine. We need to learn patience. I'm so thankful that you do this for us every year, I look so forward to your mystery. Take some down time for you, take some time to enjoy the season. Merry Christmas to you and yours!!! Btw, I'm so sorry that your sons computer took the hit :( hope Ms. Sadie gets well fast!!! hugs Sonya at sonyawood@tds.net

  18. Bonnie, You deserve a break. You do so much for us and teach us as you go. I enjoy your column and all of the little things it shows. In my case of the new MQ I have only gotten one block done but hopefully, this weekend will get a few more done. Still trying to keep up with everyone else. In the meantime, you need to take a breather and sit back and relax and enjoy a cup of tea and time with your family. I know you are a busy bee and have many items on your to do list so telling you to slow down is not going to happen but know that we as your quilting quilters understand.

  19. Hang in there! This just lets us know that you are human and life happens. I'm not worried about my book either. No worries...enjoy the season.

  21. Like the others have said, don't worry yourself with things that are beyond anyone's control! Life happens, nature is on her own time frame and we have to adjust with whatever is tossed about. (This time a tree.) The important thing is that all are safe. The older we get, the more we realize we cannot control things and being flexible is an absolute must. (Something I continually try to get through to my grown kids. Too bad it takes so long to learn this lesson.) But the clue will post whenever you have connections and we will all be printing it off so we can cut and piece more blocks/units, whatever you have in store for us. Besides in the big scheme of things it matters not what time it is when it posts, we will be thankful to you for it. All the work you devote to making these possible is amazing. You are amazing so kick back and take a bit of down time for yourself.

  24. No worries!! Take your time with clue #2!! I need to clean my house and decorate for Christmas!

  25. Sorry! That sounded very selfish of me!!❤️

  26. I know that conspiracy feeling. I have known for some time I needed to deal with three large piles of magazines. It was the washing machine overflowing on the other side of the wall that MADE me deal with wet paper and the "magazines".

  27. Yup the universe is saying slow down. I think it is time to listen! Take care of yourself..I just returned from a week out of town for work, I am in no hurry for anything.
