Afternoon Edition–Free Kindle/Nook Cook Book!

This is just a quickie post! I’ve learned to send these on as soon as I find them, because even a few hours delay and they might NOT be free anymore! It doesn’t work to stack the blog up with these to release later, and I apologize if there were books that came through the queue while I was gone, and they were not free anymore when you clicked to get them. That’s the breaks, I guess!

You know I love these little Gooseberry Patch books, and here is another one for you, just in time for the HOLIDAZE!

Gingerbread Cookbook, another mini-cookbook from Gooseberry Patch, is free in the Kindle store and from Barnes & Noble.

I'm really interested in the wafer thin Moravian Spice Crisps, living in the Winston Salem area, where they are so tied to our history here! You haven't lived until you've had real Moravian cookies!

Book Description

Get a taste of Gooseberry Patch in this collection of over 20 favorite gingerbread recipes! In Gooseberry Patch Gingerbread we've rounded up all kinds of cookie jar favorites, from Grandma's Gingersnaps to wafer-thin Moravian Spice Crisps to the Easiest-Ever Gingerbread Boys.

Get the free ebook from Barnes & Noble.

And yes, the drawing for the 100 blocks by 100 designers is this evening too! Check back for the winners!

  2. Those Monrovian spice cookies are great for motion sickness...I used to keep some in my briefcase when I had to travel by plane for work all the time. Of course they taste great too....

  4. Bonnie, How do you find these free Kindle books? Is there a link to connect to that tells you when a free one is posted? Anyway, I am looking forward to checking out the Moravian cookie recipe. I buy them in your neck of the woods (Winston-Salem) now and then. Those darn things are worse than potato chips. I could eat the whole sleeve. Maybe now I could make them myself. We will see.
