A day to just BREATHE!

There is a whole lot of sewing going on!

Glenda has been busy!

I have met several of the ladies retreating at Brazos House before – either in workshops I’ve taught in Texas, or through friends of friends – and I was pleasantly surprised, and really, very touched to see so many Quiltville projects in progress, or on beds – oh my goodness!

Punkin’ Patch from String Frenzy!
Borders up next! well done, Glenda!

Stephanie’s Midnight Flight from
Also almost ready for borders!

Ana has her Jewel Box Stars Leader & Ender Challenge on the go!

Deb’s Carolina Christmas from Scraps & Shirttails II is well under way!

Jen has been working on her Celtic Solstice quilt!

Beautiful!

Stephanie’s Good Fortune has borders!

There are also several Good Fortune tops and quilts floating around – some are being bound as machine stitching turns to quieter evening handwork after a long hard (HA!) day of pedal to the metal, laughter, food, friendship and long walks.

My own project is growing nicely!

There has been time to take long walks down by the Brazos river:

Oh, Bob!

It’s so beautiful here!

Play with the goats!

Mama & Baby – so cute!

Check out those baby horns!

Billy, Jenny & Baby!

Even Bob wants to say hello!

Cluck, cluck girls!

There is also one rooster – whom I’ve not heard yet to crow -

But we’ve had fresh eggs for breakfast!  YUMMY!

Just about sunset – Texas silhouette!

More shenanigans into the evening, and a great night’s sleep followed – more sewing, laughter, long walks, fresh air to come --

When you take time to BREATHE – don’t forget to EXHALE!

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

Friendships are the best of life’s gifts!

Have a wonderful Sunday, friends!
