Oh these girls – such a great group of ladies from the Seattle area!
We gathered together yesterday for round two of workshops with the Quilters Anonymous guild of Shoreline, WA – with Tropical Twist from the Addicted to Scraps book up on deck!
If you love strip piecing and easy stitch-and-flip corners, you’ll love this quilt pattern, an up-do from my Star Struck – more strips, more motion, more color, more fun!
Sewin, sewin, sewin – keep those girls a sewin’
Gotta keep on sewin -
QUILT ON!
(To the tune of Rawhide!)
Sisterly love with matching Kenmores!
Love these 1970s babies!
3/4 size with all of the bells and whistles of the era!
Yes, our light was a bit “ambient.”
But it didn’t seem to matter!
Stitching with friends – perfect day!
And then there were two!
Oh my goodness – so many fun possibilities!

I'm excited to see where these colors and design choices wind up - so many gorgeous quilts in the making!
There was just a small bit of leftover books and merchandise that wouldn’t fit my suitcase, so off to FedEx we went to ditch those boxes before heading out with a group to dinner.
I think we ALL deserved a margarita - or at least a bowl of chips and salsa bigger than our heads! What a week. The ladies were exhausted from all of the pre planning and making ready – they did such a great job, and it was time to celebrate!
Loved spending our last meal together!
Dianna, ,the Selfie Expert captured us perfectly!
I am packed, ready for pick up, and headed back to Seattle in a few minutes. I’ll be home by bedtime. I know there are not enough hexies left to stitch in my bag, so maybe I’ll just go as far as I can and then take a NAP? Could it be possible?
Thank you so much Seattle Area quilters – it’s been such a great week!
Quiltville Quote of the Day!
Block out the noise of other people's opinions, and focus on what matters the most to you.
When it all comes down to it, you are the one that has to live within your own skin. They don't.
This also goes along with thinking your quilting skills aren’t good enough when compared to others. Stop the comparisons. Be yourself!
Happy Friday, everyone!
Decided this a long time ago. Sure made life easier. Have a safe trip home.
ReplyDeleteFun blocks. I love the Chips & Salsa the best. Have a relaxing weekend at home! The Nap would be best in with class, fingers crossed for an upgrade.
