Hello from Tooele, Utah!
Our final workshop sponsored by the Utah State Quilters Guild wound down at 4pm today – and I am sad to see everyone go their separate ways.
We have had such a great time together over the past 5 days of back to back workshop fun from Brigham City to Riverton.
I have loved meeting everyone and reconnecting with those I knew from previous events!
My sister Mary picked me up when all was said and done, and drove me back out to Tooele for dinner and to spend the night with family ONE MORE TIME before dropping me off at the airport for my flight home tomorrow.
Bookends!
I always call Mary my book end because we are the first and the last of the brood and I love her to bits!
Getting some selfie-love with nephew Raiger!
Love that cutie patootie chin dimple!
My brother-in-law is an EMT, and I had the privilege of heading over to the station house with a crockpot full of chili – Mary had not only fed all of us, but fed those at the station tonight as well.
Bonnie in the Ambulance with lights flashing!
12 year old Mykenzie climbing in for shot gun.
We just got back and I remembered that I promised to get this drawing up and out so here we are. Are you ready?
This bundle is heading to ONE lucky someone!
A sampling of 16 fat eighths of Hello Jane fabric from Allison Harris of Cluck Cluck Sew! A stiletto and pressing tool by Annie’s, a spool of Tutti TU37 variegated cotton thread by WonderFil, along with the “Gotta have this!” Zirkel. (Pins not included!!) Melinda Keppler! This is your box!
Congrats to you! Melinda, I’ve sent you an email. Get back to me with your snail mail address and I’ll be sure that the folks at Quilty Box get your prize on its way out to you.
My thanks again to the Quilty Box peeps for their continued offering of our fun gift-away boxes!
And with that, I’m off to watch a movie with 3 cute nephews and my niece, accompanied by many root beer floats and popcorn.
Life is definitely good!
Enjoy! Such a blessing to be with your family.
