Portland Fun!

Class is over as of about an hour ago ---

At the end of class in walks Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts wielding a bag of scraps and trimmings from her class next door ---

Weeeeeeee!  Fun for me!!

Or more like "Let's give it to Bonnie, she will sew with ANYTHING!"  ((And she's right!))

We are having a super fun time, I have met folks who have come from Canada, Alaska, California, and all over the USA to come spend a quilty weekend with us at Block Party!

Dinner with the ENTIRE group tonight in the ballroom followed by a lecture and trunk show by none other than Jo Morton!

((Okay you guys, I am just GIDDY – I woke this morning to a “friend request” from Jo herself…….I am so star struck!))

Into the weekend we go ---- I hope you have many quilty things planned!

Love from Portland ---

  1. Julie is so cute, looks like you are having a blast! I just wish that I had a job that was this much fun. Not sure that I would like all the travel though. Glad that you and the other participants are enjoying your fun quilt time together.
