24 machines are humming this morning as we work on our roll roll cotton boll blocks!
We've spent the morning working to get Our quarter inch seam just right and then moved on from large half square triangles to small ones!
We are having an absolutely wonderful time – the ladies are all very gracious and friendly and even prepared a delicious potluck lunch – Texas style!
This afternoon? Onto the string blocks!

Le my Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll!
ReplyDeleteRolling with the Baytown Girls? I thought it was going to be about a roller derby group.
ReplyDeleteBoy do they look like they are gaving a blast!
ReplyDeleteWe had a wonderful time with Bonnie and she is an awesome teacher. Although we only finished 1 block and 1 string block-I WILL make the remaining 29 and finish this (after the BAQG Quilt Show). I see myself creating lots of beautiful quilts with her scrap system. YOU are a genius and I can't wait for your return.
ReplyDeleteThe QUILTING world is so lucky to have you as an ambassador to preserving and promoting the art we so love. Fabricoholics Unite!
Bonnie, you're in my old stompin' ground! Fun folks in Baytown and Huntsville! Are you going to Crosby, too? My love to everyone! xoxo
