We've had another day of really fun cabin hunting.
And it's getting harder and harder to make a decision!
We were shown one today that is actually closer to home than the others that we really liked.
Some features of the other I like better, and some aspects of this house we like better! It's a rough decision!
We know we don't need to decide right away – and if one of these should be snatched out from under us, it's not the end of the world – there will be more to look at another time.
It sure is fun to look, hope, to dream –
The view of the front porch with all of those inviting rockers looks like a scene from Cracker Barrel! :-)

Sigh. Love that view. Im hoping to get aan overnight in to the mountains during break this week.
ReplyDeleteOhh I like this one, but one thing I was wondering if you thought about is, what internet service is available??
ReplyDeletewow, puts the word cabin to shame i'd say....looks quite luxurious in a rustic way....
ReplyDeleteRight Nanette, not just internet service, but cell service. Two bars just does not cut it day after day.....
ReplyDeleteMy late husband and I bought several rental properties. His philosophy was that "the deal of a lifetime comes along once a month" so he wouldn't let the Realtor get us too worked up about any deal. Sure is fun to look vicariously through your search!
ReplyDeletePat in Auburn, WA (the red wagon lady)
Maybe you need to go a little further in to Tn mountain side!
ReplyDeletecheck services in the area, internet, cell, etc.....and just look at those steps!
ReplyDeletegorgeous.

Got anymore pics? We are building a veryyyy small log cabin and adding on as we go. I love log cabins. They make my heart pitty patter as much as quilts do. ;-)
ReplyDeleteInteresting "shape" to this one; like the porch a LOT ... really love to just "sit and look down a road" as time rolls away ... so relaxing. I have always believed that when you find the "right" house you will know .... it sort of "picks you" ;-) Linda
ReplyDeleteThis one looks like more room for quilting and family.
ReplyDeletemy mom sold real estate for decades...she said its not what a home looks like or where it is, it's all about how does it make you FEEL? she said when you find the right home, you will know it when you walk through the door...everything else can be fixed! happy easter!
ReplyDeletenow that i see it again, looks very similar to knight's quilt shop in cape neddick, maine...yes, it does, porch and all
ReplyDeleteWe bought a getaway on a lake. It's 20 minutes door to door. We felt like the far-off ones would feel too much like an expedition. This is close enough that we even run out for lunch a couple of times each week--a great break. If there is something not too far off...I say give it an extra couple of points!
