Quilters - All Through The House!

I love seeing this space full and bustling!

Folks working on projects, some into the past-midnight hours, and some who go to bed earlier, back at it in the wee smalls with coffee in hand to greet the dawn while others slumber.

It's what retreat is all about!

Throw into that mix our "Spring Forward" time change yesterday and we were all some kind of mixed up hot mess! LOL!

April showed a fun scrappy using up her charm squares.

Sew a button on for everywhere you've visited!

What started out as this -

Quickly took over the foyer to become this!

Carolina Crossroads from Scraps & Shirttails is nearly done!

These triangles are going on point!  Fabulous!

Baby quilt finish - ready to wash and tumble!

Eagle Scout quilt - ready to give!

Another sweet baby quilt top in progress.

Oh, isn't this fabulous!!

Where is everyone else?

Playing Dice for Dollars in the dining room!

This cracked me up.  Hard core gambling at Quiltville Inn!  The answer came as "We used to play for fat quarters, but everyone has enough fabric, so now we just play for cash."  LOL! LOVE IT!

Our snow was slowly melting yesterday - but that wind was brutal!

This is what we were up against Saturday -

A Weather Vortex Doozy!

It got SO COLD - temps in the single digits overnight into Sunday morning - the windchill brought things to -1.  Let's hope that's the last of this stuff!

Gail and her Quilt Buddies are packing it all up this morning and will be on the road toward home by noon.  I look forward to seeing them back next year!

A bit of progress continues to happen with my string star quilt. I turned another corner on the second row in over the weekend. I am so in love with the texture!

In new PDF pattern release news:  I was able to make quite a bit of progress as I spent both Saturday and Sunday at my desk writing to get things ready.  Today should do the finishing touches.

This is a SNEAK PEEK!

Yes, they will be available separately with introductory pricing as well as further discounts given for purchasing together in the pattern bundle.

And YES - there will be a gift-away including fantastic fabric color rolls from Cotton to Quilts!

It's a big week ahead as the introductory post for our Hearts 0f Hope Sew-Along will go live on Friday 3/18/22.

I am super excited that I'll have the TOP to share with you for that introductory post as well so you will see exactly what we are doing. (Yes, I've been burning the midnight oil myself!)

And this is still ongoing! Thank you so much for all of your donations! Click to add your donation.

You have helped raise over $40,000.00 benefiting Together Rising's boots on the ground efforts to help the Ukrainian people.

THANK YOU!  And Keep it Up!

Every little bit is helping.  ALL of this will be going directly to Together Rising in their continued efforts to provide real support - boots on the ground support - for the people of Ukraine.

Gudrun is hosting a HOPE Sew-along using her HOPE pattern.  Many of you will already have this pattern from a previous fundraising sew-along she hosted, but for those who don't have it - ALL proceeds for both printed and digital patterns and the Hope for Ukraine fabric bundles are going to be donated to Together Rising through our joint GoFundMe, Quilters For Ukraine.

The Hope for Ukraine Mini Mystery Stash Builder Bundles are 6 half yards of blue and yellow fabric. This is 3 yards of high quality quilt shop fabric for $30. The Stash Builder Bundles are currently listed as a preorder while new fabric stock arrives and is cut and bundled.

**Many other shops may have blue and yellow fabrics, but they aren't designating their proceeds to directly benefit Ukraine. Gudrun is!**

We are doing this jointly, because we are stronger and can make a bigger impact when we work TOGETHER.

Of course you don't have to purchase anything to have your donation count.  Just donate whatever you are able from your heart.

TODAY - It's a mad, wild laundry day ahead with getting things together for the pattern release and our Hearts 0f Hope Sew-Along intro post ready.

How about your week ahead?  What it is tooking like?

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

Keep your eye on the possibilities and see where they lead!
Everything you've been through has brought you to where you are right now.
Have a wonderful Monday, everyone!

  2. I can't wait for the pattern release. Since I have a lot of projects in the making, I'll download the heart quilt, but don't know whether I will be able to do it. I informed mu quilt guild, but unfortunately did not receive a response. I have donated to UNICEF for the Ukrainian people and will now go on fund me and donate some more. I wish everyone a great week.

  5. I love the Bishops Fan quilting on your beautiful quilt. I wonder if you are free handing the quilting or did you use a template? All the quilting looks so even. I have a quilt that I want to do free hand in the Bishops Fan using your instructions.
