April 2021 Quilty Box Gift-Away!

It's a Kaffe Fassett box full of dotty goodness!

What a fun way to send April 2021 on its way as we welcome in May tomorrow!

The wide variety of dot fabrics in Kaffe's fabric lines have always caught my eye and imagination -

And in this box you will find the perfect selection of dotted bliss to make a lovely table runner (or skinny banner for a wall) inside the April 2021 Quilty Box!

All of these goodies are inside!

I do love that some of the runner comes pre-cut!

All of the centers are ready for you to sew!

Runner designed by Liza Prior Lucy from Kaffe's fabrics.

The outer border, backing or binding aren't included, but there is a link to purchase the fabric used in the runner shown, or perhaps you have something in your own stash that would work just peachy!

Also included!

Zappy Dots magnetic needle tin with the included quilt SHOWN!  It matches!  So super cute.

Use the Diagonal Seam Tape for sewing all of those diagonals without drawing lines.

Finish your project with this beautiful label by Jammin' Threads.

And some gorgeous Aurifil thread for your quilting and/or binding.

I loved the article on Kaffe!

I loved reading that "My task every Christmas was to hand paint every Christmas card and I was always dressing my sisters up for theatrical turns..."

Those things we first did as children grow into the things we enjoy and excel at today!

What is a Quilty Box?

Here are some highlights to keep in mind:
  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box of fun quilting supplies. We offer plans from $46-48/mo.
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Boxes feature your favorite designers, authors and artisans!
  • We will be using the hashtags #QuiltyBox and #GetQuilty

We are going to give away this beautiful box - are you ready to win it?

We will draw for our winner on Wednesday, May 5th, 2021!

LAST CHANCE TO SAVE!!

The printable PDF pattern for Catching Rainbows is now available at the introductory price of $9.00 in the digital patterns section of the Quiltville Store.  That's a 25% savings over the regular price of $12.00.

This price drop is good until TOMORROW - May 1, 2021 when the price reverts back to full.

Don't miss out!  These blocks are fast and fun and April Showers also bring rainbows!

It's a beautiful Friday out there - I can't wait to get out in it.

What's up for your Friday?

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

Some skills take a really long time to learn.
Be patient with yourself during that learning curve! Don't give up!
Is they anything prettier than an improved nine-patch quilt of all ginghams quilted with Baptist fans?

Have a wonderful day doing something that you love!

  1. It is very kind of you to do the giveaways, particularly in the Days of Covid. I think we all need a bright spot of hope now and then! Even if it is only the slight hope that we might actually WIN a quilty goody! Btw, I purchased the Rainbows pattern and have a collection of Fossil Ferns, just waiting to turn into something wonderful! ;-)

  6. It’s a beautiful day here too! I’ll partially pack for my upcoming retreat, then it’s an afternoon with the hubs and our 3 grandsons, ages 5-10. Playing at our son’s home with lots to do there, or hiking through the woods... busy weekend ahead...

I’ve been a fan of Kaffe for quite awhile... still waiting to make the “perfect” all Kaffe quilt... I did make a pillow case for my retreat! And close to an ALL Kaffe quilt for my daughter! I would love the Quilty box! As would everyone else lol!!

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!
    Blessings, Marci H

  7. I love your recent giveaway. Always try to win. LOL A few years ago I had the privilege of taking a class with Kaffe Fassett and it was a great experience. He is such a talented man, however it was hilarious to know that dark and light do not necessarily make up his work. He actually laughed at my fabric but by the time the class was over he had complete faith in my ability to do better. I have never had so much fun with a teacher. He called me his prize pupil that day.

  9. Was hoping for a beautiful Friday but we had gale force winds (up to 60 mph) that put a kink in the plans. Luckily a new-to-me vintage Morse sewing machine ordered a few days ago showed up on my doorstep (intact, thank the goddess) so I spent the afternoon poking and prodding and oiling and cleaning. Will do test sewing and tension tweaks tomorrow. Gale force winds are a good excuse to stay inside in the sewing studio!

  10. Bonnie, Thank you for all of your inspirations and generosity. I was thrilled to see you on quilt cam. I realized how much I missed your chatter and enlightenment. I almost missed it because of the glitch but was so happy to see it on the rerun. Thank you technology.
Continued Blessings in all you do. Stay healthy and Safe.
