I got a little message from Feedburner this afternoon.
They are discontinuing the service of emailing blog posts to followers. The service from Feedburner will end in July.
It's SAD for me, because I know many of you come by simply because you found the teaser post in your email.
My only other option at this time is to direct folks to Bloglovin! (Click the link above!)
You will need to re-subscribe by entering your email address in the new Bloglovin' widget found at the top of the right hand side bar of the blog, best viewable on a real computer where side bars are visible.
You may also BOOKMARK my blog on your desktop, laptop, phone, tablet - the best way to read me is to come directly here. Just make it a habit with your morning coffee.
Set a "Check what Bonnie is up to!" alarm on your phone.
I'm not sure when the Feedburner service will be removed - but it has been a good run and I thank them for their service over the past many years.
I'll keep searching for more answers - AFTER I try on the new sandals that Fedex just delivered to my door via Amazon!
I've had good success following you with Feedly, no missed posts. Just in case that's helpful.
ReplyDeleteI follow on Feedly also and it works just fine.
DeleteI use Feedly as well. New posts are sitting there waiting for me. Love it!
DeleteI switched to Feedly years ago after a few months of Bloglovin’. Everything is easy and nothing goes amiss.
Deletelove to see Quiltville inn and your lovely quilts. Wish I didn't work so much and had more time to sew. My husband just retired and we moved from my oversized home to a home half the size. With a sewing room half the size.
ReplyDeleteFYI: When I read blogs on my cellphone, the sidebars don't show, so I scroll to the bottom of the blog and there is a little sign to tap on that says "View web version." So I tap that and suddenly the blog has sidebars, just like on my regular computer. It is very helpful to know this.
ReplyDeleteI used to get your blog directly into my email that stopped so I go to safari look up Quiltville then select your blog .....so I do miss sometimes and read several at a time ...... I very much prefer your blog just landing in the email but it’s been a free service and I don’t feel I can complain so this is officially a just so you know
ReplyDeleteThank you I do enjoy the blog and especially quilt cam the slurpy one was great ❤️👵🏻
I use Feedly (the app and the website) as my RSS reader. You enter the URLs of the blogs you follow, and when the blogger puts up a new post, the post appears on Feedly. It’s a sort of one-stop shop for keeping up with your blogs.
ReplyDeleteI’ve used the free version for years and it’s quite convenient.
I'm already following you by Bloglovin', works great. Hope the e-mails with comments will continue to be dropped in our mail box, so we can answer our followers directly by mail.
ReplyDeleteI follow you on my Feedly Reader - it is update off and on all day long with blogs that I like to read
ReplyDeleteI have been using the reading list here on blogger, so I put all the blogs I want to follow and then go there to read them, the newest posts are on top
ReplyDeleteI use Feedly reader if that’s at all helpful. Looks like there are a few other fans responding!
ReplyDeleteI too have been following with Bloglovin' for a long time already. I love reading your blog posts.
ReplyDeleteThank you for update!! I so appreciate you.
ReplyDeleteI follow on Blogger and it works good for me.
ReplyDeleteI also use the reading list on blogger, it's been very convenient, hopefully they don't take that away too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all you do in sharing your inspirations, ideas, patterns, etc, etc and for keeping us in the loop in staying connected with you! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to adjust for your media-free Sundays.
ReplyDeleteYour e-mails don't drop in until late at night, so I have your site on my home screen as a shortcut. Even with you being ahead 3 hours, sometimes I'm up before you have posted...so then it's shower first, then coffee with Bonnie...
I've been using and finding you from Bloglovin', so no change for me.
ReplyDeleteI find you several ways and you are bookmarked also so it is easy to get to your daily blog. Technology is a blessing and sometimes a pain.
ReplyDeleteI have not gotten you for months via e-mail so now I just go to facebook and work my way backwards. I tried to sign up again and that did not work FB does.
