30 minutes til I'm being picked up for the airport---can I squeeze in the piecing of just one more block??
Or maybe two???
For those who asked, there is no pattern for this quilt yet, I just started it!
I'm chuckling at the number of emails stating that folks have scoured the website and blog looking for the pattern---"Where is it?????"
It's an idea in my head right now. A handful of blocks have been made, but that's it.
I'm planning this for a future Quiltmaker magazine "Addicted to Scraps" article so the paper template for everyone will turn out the right size.
So be watching for that---probably several issues down the road. It takes many months to publish things.
In the mean time--- collect your crumbs! You are going to need them!
And I'm going to stop pecking on my phone now so I can go sew---just ONE more block!! :-)

The little geese blocks you are piecing are just darling...I look forward to seeing what you come up with in your quilt design. I also enjoy seeing your "sassy pink" featherweight...love it!
ReplyDeleteThose blocks are adorable!! They look like minature versions of a block Lucy (Quilting with the Past) made a tutorial for a few years ago. I made a quilt from her tutorial - it's still my favorite quilt :0)
ReplyDelete10:15am. i'm on my second cup of coffee.that's it, that's all i've accomplished thus far. now lets compare this to bonnie's day so far. see the difference? :>)
ReplyDeleteOh, Bonnie, you are an awful tease!!
ReplyDeleteThose little geese -- maybe they're so small they're goslings? -- are SEW cute!
Aren't you a big tease! Quiltmaker better think to print more of that issue when the time comes. Safe travels home. Sandi
ReplyDeleteThose blocks looks very nice!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very productive time with your hot rod FW!!
ReplyDeleteCannot wait either....I see maybe a common theme on your Wild Geese blocks...reds and a bit of green as the outside triangles? Or were your crumbs just having that in common?
ReplyDeleteEvery tiny minute I can sew gets me so much closer to my goal!
XOXOXO Subee
Those are adorable Bonnie! I love tiny things and what a wonderful way to use up tiny scraps...can't wait to see the pattern!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow you're powering through those fast! Awesome. They sure are cute!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I confess. Yesterday, I went in search of the pattern, thinking I had missed it. Thanks for the update. I'll wait patiently. lane
ReplyDeleteSorry - I couldn't wait for the pattern - so I got to playing with EQ7 and made my own version! Probably not as cool as yours - but it will be fun to compare the two when the magazine comes out - to see how close I got - ;)
ReplyDeleteBonnie, how do you, make your flying geese? Thanks, Diana nuttinbutpostal@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteAnd here I thought I had enough to keep me busy, without having to download EQ7 to my computer! Those are just too dang cute to not make!
ReplyDeleteBonnie, the blocks look like something I would paper piece. I love all the color!
ReplyDeleteYep,I see more phone book pages in my future.....could it be? But wait, why do some have white ends and others darks? HUM..
ReplyDeleteAnother winner! Super cute. Collecting sraps now for wild geese later. Travelling mercies. B
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny....I think I can, I think I can , I think I can....Hope you made your flight. I am loving these blocks.
