There are good things happening right here today as we celebrate the Autumn Equinox and the first day of fall!
I grabbed my September Quilty Box on my way out the door for my round-about drive to the cabin in Virginia yesterday, planning to un-box it right here in the comfort of my cabin studio.
Oh, PRETTY!
There are so many WONDERFUL goodies in this month’s box and I know I will have a use for them right away!
What is a Quilty Box?
- Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box of fun quilting supplies. We offer plans from $44-48/mo.
- 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
- Each month we have 4 or more products (fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
- Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $60
- The next Quilty Box will ship around September 11th. Subscribers will need to purchase before September 10th to receive this shipment.
- We will be using the hashtags #QuiltyBox and #GetQuilty
I am captivated by the butterflies – right away!
Oh goodness, this is going to be a fun month!
The Mariposa Sky pattern with raw edge butterfly applique pattern is found within this month’s Bundles of Inspiration magazine and the pattern sheets provided in the Quilty Box.
And look, an Olfa 6’’ x 8’’ Mini Cutting Mat, and a Titanium 45mm Endurance Blade. I’ve heard they hold their edge twice as long as standard blades and I’m looking to give this one a good run this weekend as I dig into some projects around here. The little mat will be perfect by my machine for trimming units as I go, and removing dog ears, etc., not to mention great for traveling.
Wonderfil Spotlite thread will add some glamour to your quilting. It’s 40 wt rayon core metallic with loads of shimmer – Never dull your sparkle!
Speaking of Sparkle!
A Blossom Batiks and Sweet Somethings Fabric Bundle! This fat quarter bundle blossoms with incredible colors and designs. The beautiful like of batiks includes rich pinks, vibrant blues and soft pastel greens.
I will be drawing for TWO lucky winners in this Gift-Away – one winner to receive the full size Quilty Box above, and our second will receive the Quilty Box Mini:
Just right for little project lovers!
The Quilty Box Mini includes a charm pack of Blossom Batiks Horizon, and a recipe card to make a set of four Shattered Glass quilted place mats, perfect for yourself, or great for gift-giving!
Also included is the Bundles of Inspiration Magazine, and a spool of the Wonderfil Spotlite thread destined to add the right touch to your project.
The September Quilty Box and Quilty Box mini are curated by Flaurie & Finch, the design team of Linda Fitch and Vanessa Stevens!
More about this dynamic duo!
So let’s get this gift-away going! Are you feeling lucky?
Entries will close on Friday evening, September 28th at 7pm Eastern time -
Good luck, everyone!
Quiltville Quote of the Day!
Vintage Ohio star quilt from the American Museum in Bath, UK.
It's about what you love to do, not how well you can do it!
Just get in there!
And that includes me today. You’ll find me digging in to a couple of projects at the cabin studio – I’m feeling the need to put fabric and thread through the machine.
Have a wonderful Saturday, everyone.
Thanks for the chance to win this! Here in St. Louis on this first day of Fall, cool weather has moved in. I feel like making apple pie! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWOW! What an exciting box of goodies. Would love to give one of the new blades a try. Thank you, Bonnie, for all that you do. You make us all feel that we are part of your life journey. Blessings to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteOOOHHH! I do not know which part I would want to use first! Great selection.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Quilty Box!! And glad to hear you are looking forward to sewing today...have a wonderful time at the cabin with family!
ReplyDeleteMonday I turn 65. This would make a wonderful birthday gift. Thanks Bonnie for the opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Celebrate every day :)
DeleteI'm going to pick up one of those blades the next time they come on sale. Hopefully, they work as advertised. Glad to hear you are getting some sewing therapy, I plan on doing the same.
ReplyDeleteThank God for needle and thread! I thank you so much for just being you!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you made it back safe and sound. Happy sewing. Great Quilty Box, by the way.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful quilty box, thank you for a chance to win xxx
ReplyDeleteI am new to quilting and the quilty box looks awesome! Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteHappy First day of Fall, Everyone; and especially Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteI had a beautiful trip to Homer, AK today for the semi-annual fabric/ patterns, books, etc sale. Many of the Northwoods Quilters, from their Fall Retreat were there also, so I got to visit with them, also. I got fabrics from 40-75% off, a couple patterns for friends, now to finish 6-8 more projects (all on my list).
The scenery going down and coming back was beautiful. Because we have had a dry September, our fall colors get to stick around a lot longer this year. Lucky Us!

Looks like a great box
ReplyDeleteI would really love to win the Quilty box - those are definitely my colors!
ReplyDeleteWould love either prize. Lots o good things
ReplyDeleteYour dates read September which is almost over. I'm thinking you lost most of this month as we all know why. Do you perhaps mean October? Thanks for clarifying.
ReplyDeleteYour quote today really hits home with me because I think I lack skill/talent, yet I have many creative interests - quilting, Zentangle, art, and mixed media, and also general crafting. I have been digging in with my quilting, and my piecing skills are improving. Now to make time for some of my other interests. And thanks for the chance at another great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet box of goodness. so good to hear you are putting Wesley to thread. Congratulations on winning the Bloggers Award!
ReplyDeleteAnd that was supposed to be Needle to Thread! Got to love autocorrect!
ReplyDeleteSo great to get a chance to win quilty box. Thank you!
