Yes, it was THIS kind of fun in class yesterday with members of the Circle in the Square Quilters and friends from St Louis Missouri!
Who would guess that this whole PJ thing would take on a life of its own!
Do you think that Target has figured it out yet? LOL!!
Next time they make anything with sewing/quilting stuff as a theme—they better realize that quilters and sewists are a force to be reckoned with and send in at least TWICE the amount of merchandise as they thought they could move! HA!
As for me – I’m in my new St Louis Cardinals shirt and matching earrings – when in St Louis, FLAUNT IT!
Blocks coming together!
There were 36 of us having a great time –our location was a local community sports complex that includes the local ice rink and gym facilities as well as a swimming pool –we took the East Gym for our workshop space!
It was really fun coming in to set up and watching the little kids on the ice during hockey practice!
Stitchers sewing away!
Cutting up the pieces!
Chain, chain, chain!
Ooooh!
Ohhhh!
And Kevin the Quilter!!
AWESOME DAY! Jammies and all!
You will find the free pattern for My Blue Heaven ((Which finally has a proper hanging sleeve as of this trip!)) under the free patterns tab at the top of the blog.

Our Show & Share was absolutely the most fun as well – we grabbed our box lunches and our quilts and headed across the street to enjoy the beautiful day outside at the park picnic tables. More on that to follow in a future post.
Today is a lecture day – brunch pick up at 9:50, then over to the library to set up. Lecture begins at 1:30, and then I am officially off the clock for this extra long whirlwind tour of Missouri.
Tomorrow – HOME!
Yeah, I went to my local Target no PJ's in my size, tried to order them on line none in my size. Pretty popular PJ's this week I'm thinking :)
ReplyDeleteHubby took me to Target over a week ago, to get my pj's. Anything sewing related is always allowed. I did waive to you, as I drove thru Springfield last Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteWas fortunate to get into your workshop in St. Louis and had a wonderful time!!! You are such an inspiration to quilters. Thank you so, so much for all that you do for the quilting community. Veronica veronicakersting@yahoo.com.
ReplyDeleteWell, Bonnie you made me do it. Yes, I have the pj's. They're so soft and silky feeling.

ReplyDeletebless you all, looks like such fun!
I tried to get some quilting jammies, but they did not have my size. Wanted them for a trip, so I bought ones with the sock monkeies.
ReplyDeleteYay for the Cardinals Tshirt and earrings!
