Festival of Quilts Ticket Winners!

It's give away time!
I am so thrilled for those of you who are close enough, or have made plans to travel long distances to visit the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, England this coming August!

It's the biggest and best show in all of the UK, and is not to be missed if you are anywhere close enough to attend!

Many thanks go to the folks at Festival of Quilts for providing me with THREE pairs of tickets to give away here on the blog.

Let's get that Random Number Generator going and see who our lucky winners will be!

Remember, you must have left a way for us to contact you in your comment.  If your profile does not have your email address accessible, you needed to leave an email address in your comment so that I could reach you.

No contact info -- and I draw someone else.  That simple!

Let's go!

#74!

Anniebee!

#8!

Katie Allen!

#51!

Agneta in Sweden!

All three winners were contacted by email!

I will be sending their info to the folks at Festival of Quilts so they can get their tickets settled.

One thing new...in ALL future give-aways, if you are using a google profile --I will be requiring you to leave your email address in your comment.  I went through 6 "almost winners"  who's profile only links to their google+, with no email address visible at all.  They likely don't know it -- they assume that their email is there, but it's not.

If you are using a google+ profile, when I click your name it defaults to a google messenger where I can leave you a message, but it is not email, it shows up in the chat section of your google+ and many folks don't even USE that or know to check it and these tickets would have gone unclaimed.

So -- starting the next giveaway ---Check your blogger profile.  If it is google+. leave your email address.  Or I'll have to pass you by and you will miss your chance at winning because I NEED to be able to contact you by EMAIL.  I hope this is feature that google will change in the future.

Also..if you notice that my posts look a little different --blogger has also stopped accepting posts written in other programs, uploaded as a draft.  I have been using Windows Live Writer for years, and have loved it.  I could write posts offline.  And post them when I was online. My pictures had far more options and looked better --not so now.

Dang you, blogger.  I am just THIS CLOSE -- after 10 years of blogging with you ((YES!  It is 10 years THIS MONTH!)) of moving to WordPress.
