This is what I’ve been working hard at behind the scenes!
My goal was to have this done by June 1st – but I was up at the cabin, and that get-away time seemed more important than more desk work.
But I’m happy to tell you that with this new website that came last month, that this month I am ready to start adding these much wanted items to the online store as DIGITAL DOWNLOADS!
The new website also allows me to run sales and coupon codes as well as all kind of other nifty stuff, so who knows what kind of fun we will be having in the future!
Let me tell you –taking 6 mystery installments and writing them concisely so they will fit in a more non-mysterious format is a bit testing!
But it worked! And it looks AWESOME!
I have the full color step-by step instructions down to 7 printed pages in full color without losing any of the attention to detail that I try to give during our mysteries.
Cover Page Caption!
Both sizes of the quilt are given in the pattern! 77 X 77 and 111 X 111 for those who really want to cover their king sized bed!
So have at it, folks! Visit my Quiltville Store and click on the DIGITAL DOWNLOADS icon to find where the digital patterns will be –this is the only one there so far, but there will be more to come!
Click to add the pattern to your cart –check out, and voila! Your pattern file will be mailed to you.
All for the amazing price of $8.00.
Of course, you can add other items to your cart as well -- books, rulers - -those will come snail mail!
Me & Dad, Thanksgiving Day, 2013!
I’m spending the evening AWAY from the computer, quilting on the Lozenge Quilt – photos of that to come tomorrow!
Great! This will make a lot of people happy! Hope the lozenges are nearly done.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have patterns available to purchase right here --- easy peasy! Thanks for adding that, Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt! Stunning --- as all your quilts are!
I have been waiting for this pattern to come out out. I have parts missing instructions sections so I refused to even make one little cut into my material. Its all folded in bins looking at me. Ya. now I can begin. Thanks Bonnie for all your hard work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bonnie! I will be so happy to have that pattern!
ReplyDeleteGreat you are doing this. I just finished my lozenge quilt last night also; sewed the last row on during QuiltCam. Also doing Square Dance as a leaders and enders--have 10 blocks done. Thank you for that also.
ReplyDeleteBet you're going to save some amount of time because you don't have to mail out the pattern, depending on the number of people who buy the digital instructions, but it provides us impatient people with instant patterns for our quilting pleasure.
ReplyDeleteYou're amazing. I think if I were you, I would have just sold the PDF you already created . . . HERE PEOPLE. . and it's a MYSTERY QUILT. . . added bonus maybe??? haha ;c)
ReplyDeleteBut again, you are probably the hardest working woman I know. . . in the quilt world or , . . EVER
Your boundless energy is inspirational. You give so much to all of us out here in the far reaches of your blog-sphere. With all your travel, magazine articles, pattern development, books, quilt cam's, annual mystery quilt, teaching and now digital content on your site oh and let us not forget this is while you are also being a wife and mother, it is amazing to read about. I haven't a clue how you do it....wait are you really triplets?
ReplyDeleteThank you for all you do and all you inspire
Chris
Yesterday I finished one set of 20 Tropical Twist blocks for a charity top, and I can't wait to start Lozenges, as I have a lot of 2 inch strips to cut for the corner squares. My accuquilt cut a ton of 3.5 x 6.5 bricks for me, so that will be my next leader/ender project. Thanks for the inspiration, Bonnie. awlong@msn.com
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I made Orca Bay from the mystery directions. When I saw it in your book, I didn't like the instructions as well. Do you really need to rewrite them totally? I like the step by step instructions in the mystery format. Anyway, just my thought on the subject. This is a really great idea to make them available through download.
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I'm so excited for all the wonderful things that are happening in your life.
ReplyDeleteNo one deserves it more than you!
I am so excited to be able to make my own Celtic solstice. Thanks for all your hard work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely surprise! I thought we would have to wait until next year's book. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI think that Bonnie's rewritten Celtic Solstice instructions will be just as good as the ones she published online in mystery format. And that's because she is the one who has written them. The instructions in the books probably have to follow the publisher's preferred format.
ReplyDeleteI'm finally starting to sew my lozenges into rows! Hope to finish this month or next. Congrats on your new venture into digital downloads! Not trying to be a deputy downer, but the Celtics Solstice first page has a misspelled word - it should be "reminiscent". Probably easier to fix on a digital pattern than a paper one :). mtlakequilter@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteHurray - especially for overseas customers like myself! No postage to pay and even better - almost instant delivery:-)
ReplyDeleteYou are AWESOME in everything you do! Thanks for all the things you do for us!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pattern. I have been waiting for it so I can make this for our bed at our cabin. Now to shop my stash.
ReplyDeleteYou've just made a lot of quilters happy! You work so hard and do so much for your followers! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all you do and give!
ReplyDeleteThank you, it is so pretty. How you get so much fun, is amazing.
ReplyDeleteDanke,Merci,Gracias,Arigatou,Asante,Thank-you. Their are not enough languages to thank-you. I have wanted this pattern since I discovered you in 2014.Let the fabric hunt begin. Valerie from Jacksonville FL. lavnek@comcast.net
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the upgraded website and digital downloads! I don't know how you keep up with the latest technology with your travel and book-writing schedule; and you still have time to make quilts! WOW!
ReplyDeleteI just put my Celtic Solstice on the bed last weekend. I made it without batting to be our summer bedspread. It looks beautiful in my blue bedroom!
Thank You! I've been waiting for Celtic Solstice! Downloaded it this morning and already printed it out! It just jumped to the next quilt n my queue! Hmmm. Now off to shop my stash!
ReplyDeleteDigital is THE way to go!! Congrats, Bonnie!! 😊
ReplyDeleteNow that was so easy! Pattern bought, downloaded and saved in moments - no snail mail (and expense) to the UK today!
ReplyDeleteI was too late to quilting to see this mystery in action (been quilting for just over a year now) but have loved this design since I first saw it.
So thank you so much for pulling this altogether and for the ease of the digital download
from a soon to be very, very busy
Toni
Bonnie, I just wanted to tell you thank you for all of your posts. I have severe memory damage and love to quilt. Your patterns, tips and fun are all very inspirational. I know I have made several of your patterns, but somehow my memory let your blog slip past me. I just rediscovered it today! I love your site and have bookmarked it and your face book page also. I am really looking forward to trying your leader and ender projects! Again, Thank You so much.
ReplyDeleteOh, Kevin Barksdale is my hubby. My name is Brenda.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you are starting to offer single patterns...I had having to buy an entire book just for one pattern that I want to make. Sometimes I fall in love with more than one...but many times there is only one pattern that I make out of a book! :)
ReplyDeletecan we make a request for the next pattern you make available?
ReplyDeleteAs someone who is perma-mobile, I just have to say that I love all of the new changes you are making! :) I love your designs and really love that it is getting so much easier to access your blog and your patterns! Yay!
