From Machines To Porch Rails!

Sew Long, Farewell - we'll see you next year!

The October Quiltvillians filled each moment to the fullest - and they also filled the wrap around porch railing as you can see in this photo!

Such a wide variety of colors and styles -

Marvelous Marvelous, ladies!

The firest quilt is a temperature quilt challenge - look at all of those flying geese! I love the watercolor look of Jill's diamond quilt on the right - not sure of the names or patterns for any of these three.  If you know - put them in the comments please!

Smith Mountain Morning from Scraps & Shirttails II on the left, and unknown squares upon squares pattern on the right. I love this one...everywhere you look you see squares and more squares behind, between and on top!

Tonni finished her Triple Treat  Leader & Ender challenge in lovely pastels.  And check out Connie's Bitcoin!

Melinda with two Chirstmas quilts - one is Jared Takes a Wife from the Free Patterns tab. And here is Gail with her OWN Bitcoin.  She and connie worked on theirs together as a personal challenge.

Two Bitcoin quilts side-by-side!

Kimi and Allison -

Patterns unknown - leave in comments, please!

And a gifted Indigo Way from friend to friend!

Gail made her Indigo Way in autumn colors - and then gifted it to Wendy who fell in love with it.

That's true, lasting friendship, y'all!

What a marvelous group of ladies and I feel so lucky to be part of every group that comes and stays.

This was my day!

You know its a busy day when FedEx and UPS are making deliveries at the same time as I am running laundry, and Hubster Dave is getting the inn oven back together with a new element and ignitor.

It was a dozen things all spinning at once - I often think of the guy at the circus spinning all of those plates on sticks trying to keep them all going, and not letting any of them fall crashing to the ground.

I'm still working on tomorrow's Mystery introduction post.  All of the pieces are coming together and my goal is to have it ready for posting first thing tomorrow morning.

I am my own most demanding boss, I tell you.

I did take some time for more cutting.

And I hit up my squares drawers to pull what pre-cut squares I could find in red/cream.

I want to settle in to holiday sewing as time allows.

This is another "inspired by a tile floor" design that is floating in my head and I want it in red/neutral to carry me through Valentine's Day.  It will likely take me that long with the travel I have in December to England and then Australia in January.

The November Quiltvillians arrive this afternoon.  There are retreat beds to be made, pressing stations to be re-papered and things to be made ready.

What's on your plate for today?

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

I'm not saying it's bad. It's just that I wake up, look in the mirror, don't feel any different. ⁣
But here I am!

Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone!

Love all the inspiration. I would like to know the pattern for the square upon square quilt please. Definitely a different type of quilt. Perfect for a teenage boy.
