Summit St. Box Gift-Away!

Happy Thursday, folks!

And happy AUGUST - can you believe it? Where did summer go?

I know for many quilters that August is a great month for quilting road trips - as evidenced by the August Quiltvillians who made their arrival at Quiltville Inn a party last evening.

And to celebrate quilty road trips - have I got a fun gift-away for you!

From my friend Jordan at Summit St Shop!

These cute little boxes  are great for so many things.

There is a NEW Road Trip box  for the traveling quilters amongst us!

Summit St Boxes are a cute and clever way to store and organize all sorts of items. They hold 6-1/2in quilt squares perfectly!

I've been using them to store my kitted up block parts - Here I've placed the blue blocks in one, and the reds in another.

They are also great for holding quilting, sewing, knitting, and scrapbooking supplies. Snacks, make up, toiletries, jewelry, and trinkets too.

Put some goodies inside and give as a gift! Pack up and take to a retreat! Boxes feature nice smooth edges and a super cute design on the lid.

  • Made of: Plastic
  • Use: Storage and Organization
  • Size: 7in x 7in x 1-1/2in Tall

  • Summit St Shop is in Webberville, Michigan!  Are you within driving distance?

They spent a year and a half renovating a historic church building into a storefront open to the public..

Summit St Shop carries quilting fabric, of course - but also decor, gifts and more!

And yes, you can order online. Summit St Boxes are currently on sale as well, and there is free shipping on orders over $75.00 within the USA.

I love these boxes - use them all the time for EVERYTHING!

I'll be drawing for 2 winners to each receive a Road Trip box from Jordan at Summit St Shop.

Winners must have a USA address, or agree to pay the difference in international shipping.

We'll draw for our winners next Thursday, August 8th!

I just know you are going to want to collect ALL of the boxes - at least the quilty ones!

    Early morning yesterday -

I had been up since 5am.  Why? I don't know.  But all of my computer work was done extra early and I decided to head out on a solo walk before arriving at the inn.

The road beyond my drive was blocked by road crews which meant I had to go *up and over* and since it was still early, I just pulled over at Bear Branch Road, and put my feet to street at the saying goes.

I love summer mornings.  I'd much prefer to be up too early than to sleep through them.

There wasn't anything really exciting to see -

Just the green foliage of late summer.

Rock formations, creeks and fallen trees.

It still set a wonderful start to my day - and I may be up to doing it again.  I want to make the last days of summer last as long as they can.

I'm not often motivated to go by myself - but it's good for my soul.

Tula - as ladies were arriving yesterday afternoon.

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

    Freak out averted!

    Have a terrific Thursday, everyone!

I'm in South Texas, so that road trip up north will have to wait until next summer... as school starts back up for us on Monday! UGH!! Also the little boxes are super cute & would be a game changer for leader & ender projects! Tula has such an important job being the people greeter for the next group! :) Have a great day & Happy quilting!

I absolutely kill those 'spiders' too. (If the electric zapper racket is handy, I sneak up from underneath the real ones. Very effective.)
