Sew Much Going On!

The Stitch Mob gals and sewing up a storm and turning out some beautiful quilts!

I think more than the finishes, I love seeing work stations full of productivity.

A quilter's "Still Life" where you can look at the photo and just know how much is happening just by looking at the surroundings on the table.

How many of you are searching for prints that you also have in your stash?

There is a whole lot of Bitcoin  happening in this spot this weekend!

There are a bunch of top finishes coming out for show & share as well - fantastic Scrappy Trips (Free Patterns tab ) accented with black.  Wonderful!

A special grandson is getting a quilt with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  The motifs were salvaged from a sheet set, fussy cut and framed with grey and white.

Shattered! With so many fun, bright scraps!

Silk Path is ready for trimming and quilting!

 Winter Blues in ruby red!

Trip Around the World lap quilt.

Check out the fun scrappy back for this one!

Beautiful Variable Star is getting its binding!

This beautiful layout of Scrappy Mountain Majesties blocks -

beame this:

Love it!

60 degree diamonds is becoming this:

And a big, giant Kim Diehl churn dash!

And yes - there was time to walk along the river and up the road.

See the two speedies up there on the right?

Just let them go, they'll catch us on the way back!

We need to grab all of the outdoor time we can!

Creek down below, road up above.

And a gorgeous healthy lunch when we returned!

My pieced backing.

I didn't get this into the quilting machine yesterday - instead I cleaned up the studio.

I put strips away, I sorted and shuffled.  I just needed a clean space to move forward in.  I cleaned the long arm table, cleaned the quilting machine and got it ready -

Maybe today I'll sew?

As for the name - Thank you to everyone who did NOT suggest fried eggs or anything to do with eggs.  Puuuullllllleaase. No food names! LOL!  And definitely NOT eggs.

Moonflower is what I'm leaning towards.  But that could change.  Still - here is a lovely photo that has me leaning this way:

Yep.  I think it's going to be called Moonflower.

And Lola says - what about THIS cutting table, mom?

This clean up will have to wait for another day.  LOL!

The pattern release of  Eclipsed has been absolutely phenomenal! Thank you!

The one thing I've had emails on is folks outside of the USA having trouble with the Buy Now button as it uses autofill and as they are international, they then get a message saying that we don't ship outside of the USA.

PDF patterns are not shipped. There is no problem if you simply add the item to the shopping cart, then click to the shopping cart and choose either your PayPal or Credit Card option.  It should process just fine from there. It has something to do with purchasing digital files with the BUY NOW button if you are international.

Do not use the Buy Now button.  Add the item to your cart and then click the cart and check out the normal way.

Sorry for the headache - but give this a try and see if it works for you.

Also - if you've downloaded and can't find where your PDF went on your device - do a SEARCH by pattern name. Most of my issues come from iPhone/iPad users who don't know where to look.

How to find a PDF on an iPhone in Files.

The broadest place to look for your PDF is in the Files app. You’ll be able to find it there if it’s on your iPhone.

  1. Open the Files app.
  2. Tap Browse > On My iPhone.
  3. Search your folders for the PDF.

It’s very likely that the PDF ended up in the Downloads folder, so search there first.

How to search for PDF files on an iPhone.

Using the search function on your iPhone might be one of the simplest ways to find the PDF that you’ve downloaded. Here are the steps for using the search function:

  1. Swipe down to find the search field.
  2. Enter the name of the PDF into the search field.
  3. Tap Show More to scroll further through searches.
I really hope this helps!

Quiltville Quote of the Day-

I'm also of the age where I have to use the flashlight on my phone to read menus. ⁣
You, too?⁣

  1. Happy Caturday! Wow, such beauties! Everyone has talent and a good eye for color.
Lola looks so pieceful. Moonflower is a great name for your quilt.
I'll make some Italian soup and then go down stairs to sew.
I can start to feel a chill and autumn in the air here. Won't be long now.
    Have a Sparkling day
    Blessings 🙏 💞

  2. What a great idea Bonnie! Take a picture of the label so I can read it. I've been at the store cursing myself out for leaving reading glasses at home. I just use the dollar store ones so I have many pairs at home, but they never seem to stay in my purse! I never even thought to use my cell phone. Wow, no more putting the item back because I can't read the ingredients for foods I can't eat. Thanks!

  3. I LOVE seeing what folks are working on! Great idea to use a sheet for the Ninjas. And I love the trip lap quilt with the blue "twigs" fabric. Adds real interest!

  5. I love the name Moonflower! That fits. Taking time to clean up and sort, oil the machine. You will have it purring like Lola soon. Happy Saturday!

Bonnie, I would sincerely appreciate it if you would ask the quilter who make the Kim Diehl giant churn dash what book the pattern is in. I'm very smitten with the quilt she made. Give here a high five for me, please.
One more thing - last night I had a dream about storing my scraps. I have an area in my living room called no man's land where I have a area that's very comfortable for my sewing time. While thinking about my scraps I thought oh just do like Bonnie and you'll just have fun. LOL Darlene J

All the quilts are absolutely beautiful. I am finally working on "My Blue Heaven". It's slow going cutting and sewing the hourglass units. But the will get done. I wish everyone a great weekend.
